On cask at Cloisters. Pours a very dark brown colour with a decent beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and caramel. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a creamy mouth-feel.

500ml bottle, not much head and low carbonation. Chocolate malt with roasted coffee & cream and a touch of smoke. Well balanced all the way through. Very nice

Bottle at home courtesy of dantheman, cheers!
Pours dark ruby mahogany with vanilla icecream head and lightly smoky, cocoa nose. Some smoked bacon and chipotle character up first followed by a very savoury coffee flavour, light bodied, long toasty finish. Medium carbonation. A different take on a coffee stout.

pours black with brown fringes, with a medium off white head which soon dissipates, aroma is metallic coffee, caramel malts, tiny bit earthy. taste is light coffee, milk chocolate, finishes with a clean bitter edge. body alot lighter body than I would like. still a very nice beer.

500ml bottle from The Beerhive. Frothy tan head settles quickly. Very dark body, almost black but a hint of ruby. Brilliant nose of coffee and chocolate. Low carbonation, bitter coffee taste leaves a smooth mocha finish. Great winter beer, very drinkable stout.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington, London, 22 Nov 2012) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, chocolate and moccha. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, moccha and a generous roasty coffee bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Very nice and tasty stout.

Bottle. A solid coffee infused stout. Nicely balanced with plenty coffee that doesn’t overpower.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. Surprised not more brewers have appropriated this name. Hefty brownish/black pour, with a firm silky-looking head. Tons of chocolate in the nose, along with fresh grind (but nothing too face-slamming). Body is nice, silky and a bit gritty in a way that brings out the dry qualities of the base. Coffee there to complement, not to steamroll. Pretty good.

Aroma has mocha with hints opf licorice. Flavour has mocha, some licorice and vegetable notes typical to mocha beers. Dry finish. Rich on coffee and good!
