18th July 2015: cask, hand-pulled pint at the Sheffield Tap. Nice light coloured brew with a good, full white head. Citrus flavours rule the nose and taste and although I am fed up with this style of beer I quite enjoyed this one.

Bottle BBE: 16-Sep-15. Well-chilled. Pours a hazy amber with towering, pillowy off-white head. Well-maintained and good lacing. A solid, bready malt backbone to the nose, with a hint of yeast and medium hop aromas of citrus and pine. A little skunked. Light biscuity sweetness and a crisp, light-medium bitterness to follow. Light-bodied with a smooth texture, medium carbonation and a gentle bitter finish. Overall a very enjoyable light summer ale. Held back a little by the hint of off-notes on the nose.

Moebbels (488) - FINLAND - JUN 17, 2015
Pours a hazy orange body with a frothy white head that leaves lacing on the glass. The nose is quite refreshing and tropical with grapefruit, pomegranate and pine notes. Taste has a hoppy bitter bite and a dry finish. Lively carbonation and light but not watery palate. Very nice and refreshing, excellent summer ale.

500ml bottle, pours a clear orangey gold with a nice Whitehead which reduces to cap. Fresh tropical fruit and grapefruit nose. Fruity taste washes away all too quickly leading a moderately bitter finish. Thin and watery medium carbonation. Very pleasant. Very gluggable.

500ml bottle in Moskito, Glasgow (£4.10):
A real disappointment from Cromarty for me, I can’t remember the beer being this bad the first time I tried it but that might be down to the fact I don’t remember much of anything about the first time I tried it. A boring beer that was lucky to be given a 2nd tasting & definitely won’t warrant a 3rd.

Appearance is good, pours light golden with thick foamy head. Aroma is absolute horror... more like stench. Flavours are biter, unpleasant as grapefruit peel.

Tao@tcbw15. Golden clearish. Pale, malty, slight creamy cotrussy nose. Light bodied, sort of nice cheery. Malty, cream aley, citrus lemony. Decent, but bit bland weaker soft hoppy ale. Quite enjoyable still.
