Beersiveknown (1617) - NORTHERN IRELAND - APR 16, 2013
bottle at home from alesella.
Pours burnished gold, hazy with a frothy off-white head that soon subsides to a lacing. Enticing pineapple and passion fruit on the nose. Custard cream malts up first followed by brash lime pith, and a long tropical fruit drying finish. Possibly detect motueka at play here. This is how I like my golden ales. only slight downfall for me is the carbonation being a little lively

Cask at Inn Deep, a light amber light creamy head. Aroma was a nice hoppy citrus, rather like Jarl. Taste was of pleasant hops, some zesty citrus notes and a nice bitter finish liked it.

50cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a cloudy golden/amber colour with a nice lacy head. The nose has white flowers with some apricot. The taste has lovely mandarin oranges and some white flowers again. The palate is light to medium bodied and textured with a lovely clean finish. This is lovely!

jamestulloch (477) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 12, 2012
Aroma: Clean aroma. Soft and peachy, slightly lemony.

Appearance: Hazy amber body with a thick, frothy off-white head. Almost no visible carbonation.

Taste: Quite citrussy - grape notes. Finish is grainy and slightly metallic.

Palate: Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture.

Overall: Not the most complex beer out there, but it’s light, well balanced and easy to drink.
