A very nice hoppy pale ale. Tastes of grass, lemons. Nice carbonation. Better out of the cask but bottle is good too

On cask at the cromarty arms. Rich golden colour with half inch of tight white head. Aroma is distinct lemon, some lime, lightly toasted bread. Taste is again the zingy citrus thing, digestive biscuits, and a touch of toffee. Long, lingering finish, medium bodied and bloody moreish.

Bottle from appellation wine dalry road. Pours clear orange. Nose of resin, peaches, apricots, tropical fruit. The taste is orange peel, well rounded maltyness, very nicely put together.

Bottle 500 ml, thanks to Lonick! Into a Guinness pint glass, ABV 4.1% Deep bright golden orange colour on the body, slightly off-white small and creamy head, with great retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Body is a bit hazy. Aroma is quite hoppy, with lots of citrus, mandarines, kumquat, nice floral notes. Taste follows, hoppy too but with no extreme bitterness, on the contrary subtle but present during the whole drinking experience, citrus fruits, mandarines, light grapefruit, refreshing kumquat again, fresh cut grass. Medium thin body, average carbonation, quite dry palate. Great beer, one to drink buckets of.

Finale appena secco, carbonazione media. Ottima session ipa

Cask by handpump at Kay’s Bar, Edinburgh (15 Mar 12) - clear golden ale with a fruity hop aroma, fruity, sweet, well-hopped, nice, smooth and well balanced, good session beer

50cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a cloudy golden/amber colour with a nice lacy head. The nose has white flowers with some apricot. The taste has lovely mandarin oranges and some white flowers again. The palate is light to medium bodied and textured with a lovely clean finish. This is lovely!

bottle at home from alesella.
Pours burnished gold, hazy with a frothy off-white head that soon subsides to a lacing. Enticing pineapple and passion fruit on the nose. Custard cream malts up first followed by brash lime pith, and a long tropical fruit drying finish. Possibly detect motueka at play here. This is how I like my golden ales. only slight downfall for me is the carbonation being a little lively
