Keg at six degrees north Aberdeen. Aroma is really nice fresh fruity citrus with some herbal notes. Flavour is grainy base malts with some nutty, orange peel, berry and hedgerow hops. Light medium palate with moderate carbonation. Slightly stale flavours with cardboard in the finish, otherwise really solid and very drinkable.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2014 Cask in Arisaig Hotel. Nice frothy head which nuzzles your nose as you inbibe the wonderful hop aroma. The head subsides steadily as you taste the hop. This beer is a wall of bitter almost metallic hop. Pine trees and pineapple. There is little maltiness, or sweetness to balance the palate which starts to feel dry as you drink. This beer has dry pale malts like Munich and could do with a spoonful of honey. The bittering hop has a depth of flavour and a rye bread, earthy, grassy flavour develops. The pint stays interesting to the last sip. A great opener for an evenings real ale. But unless I was eating or the summer hot, I’d not follow with the same.
