500ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Reddish brown, reasonable head. Grain cherry aroma. Bitter biscuit cherry flavour. Sour cherry aftertaste. A bitter / fruit beer hybrid. Sorry but this just doesn’t work. First disappointment from Cromarty.

Bottle from Cornelius. Brown pink with short very light pink head. Big sour fruity nose. Some cherry on first taste but quick gives way to standard mild bitter. It's fine, but without the cherry would be a bit farty old ale. Sorry chaps, I love your other stuff!

Cask conditioned at The Raven, Bath, Somerset. Reddish brown with white head. Boiled toffee flavour, diacetyl indeed before and cherry notes come through, cherry toffee in a beer, not really for me. Unfortunate.

Bottle. Lovely reddish amber. Foamy head which clears very quickly. Light cherry aroma (very pure, but very light), some bitter hops. Palate is light, dry, fruity, but not very intense. Very dry refreshing finish.
