3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, - AUG 5, 2005
(Bottled, BBE 03/2007) Hazy amber color with a smallish, tight, lacy and lasting head. Mild, toffee-syrupy, yeasty, slightly buttery and acidic aroma with some sweet corn. Toffee-syrupy, somewhat roasted-malty, sweetish flavor with yeast, some alcohol and bitter hops in the finish. Medium-bodied, a bit alcoholic, warming palate with balanced carbonation. Not bad at all, just an inch too sweet and alcoholic, but very bearable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 sebletitje (4394) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 25, 2010
bottle shared with Tomaz.
pours cloudy golden, thick white head.
aroma had something unique not typical to most Belgian strong ales, something of fermented white grapes with a blossom hops and yeast. Found it to be sweet and reminiscent to the Bloemenbiek beer.
Flavors, yeasty, some caramel malts, honey like palate, sweet with some raisins, hay/attic flavors.
Tasty and surely doesn’t feel like 8.3%
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 tomaz (53) - , GERMANY - JUN 25, 2010
This was a great beer. Very nice brown-orange a bit trouble. Spicy and vanilla on the back ground. Medium body with a nice enjoyable sweet finish. Even the beer reach 8.3, the alcohol is not too much intense. Very well balanced. Last long in the month, remembers me caramelized pear. It was a really one of the nicest beer.
