A hazy yellow orange coloured, still cider. A sweet fruit nose, appley, plus a mellow rum spirit aroma, reminiscent of “Wine Gums!” A tangy, appley taste with a spicy almost mulled flavour of rum amd cinnamon, slightly sour in the finish. (Cask - 2007 Cambridge Beer Festival).

From a plastic barrel at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival on 3 February 2011. The rum aroma is unmistakable and, frankly, overpowering. It’s so intense it has something of a "surely that must be artificial" feel. The apple character makes a better fist of competing with the rum in the flavour. Tasty but hardly subtle. Whether you enjoy this will depend more on whether you like rum flavours than anything else. Outrageous stuff.

Dec 06 Sampled from the barrel @ Middle Farm, Nr Lewes. Spiritous with fruity nose and acidic dryness. Slightly thin with excess spirit flavours and acidity.
