COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled only (pasteurised) - available in 750ml bottles.
Note: The bottled version is different to the draught.

Taste is Medium Sweet pears with lovely soft mouthfeel and a nice dry finish.
Crone’s Organic Perry is a traditional perry made from a blend of dessert pears and cookers USING ONLY ORGANIC FRUIT and without the use of chemicals or concentrates.
The freshly pressed pear juice is fermented with the natural yeasts and the resulting perry is matured and allowed to clear naturally without the use of finings making Crone’s organic cider & perry suitable for Vegans. The only thing we add is a small amount of unrefined demerara sugar.

750ml bottle. Slightly hazy, pale yellow colour, no head and aroma of fruity pear, sugary. Taste of pear, pear juice, with some wood, sweetness and tannins followed by a note of hay. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry finish with lingering straw and hay. Quite OK.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s 30th Birthday Bash - CBC Clerkenwell, London. One of my contributions to the evening; I guess nobody but Fergus and I were lucid enough to get the rate in! Pours cloudy yellow with a fine, white foam head. Tangy, lightly musty dry pear aroma. Medium sweet flavor but still with some dry pear, some corn and doughy malts. Sweet dry and musty pear, basically. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty dry to finish, more dry pear, some dough, light butter. Very OK perry.
