Cask Conditioned Handpump Wig & Pen Northampton. An orangey green headless and frankly ugly looking cider. Sweet and spritzy apple throughout. Fleshy and pithy apples. Easy to drink with mouth smacking fruitiness. Pretty decent.

Polypin at Merton Winter Beer Festival Feb’ 08 Pours a warm yellow but starting to move towards orange. Apples staright off of the nose, quite clean and slightly unusual in taste, not as sharp or tangy as I expected and the apples whilst quite up front were also being tempered by a soft sweetness which just took away a little something. Quite nice.

From the barrel at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Orangey colour. Looks a bit like orange squash in fact. Mainly apple juice character with a very slight woody edge. Sweetish. Pleasant and straightforward, if not to complex or demanding. Judging from the name, I’d guess that’s what they were aiming at. Quite refreshing.

Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Fruity spice. Well balanced and not too complex. Does what it says on the tin.

Bag in the box cider at Reading BF 06. Cloudy mid gold colour. Nice appley aroma. Sour apple juice in mouth. More my style of cider. Very simple apple juice.

Cask @ Reading 06: Simple apples, quite sweet but still balanced. Mild grapes and a little funk. Not bad.

Cask@Kingston beer festival. Slightly medicinal, but nicely dry and sour, lemony apple skin, some menthol and barnyard/cheesey smells.
