Straw coloured and slightly hazy, with a white head. Good hops and malt aromas. The taste had a striking bitterness from the Cascade hops with hints of citrus and peach. Very full and refreshing. An excellent session ale - highly drinkable.

Garrold (1470) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2014
Bottle from StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Hazy, straw colour. Film of white head. Lemon and lime zest, with malt sweetness. Taste is off dry, with a bitterness in tow. Soft to flat carbonation. Decent amount of body. Finishes crisp bitter. Refreshing session beer, that I could chug down quite happily. Marked down a little though, because it was way overpriced!

Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 31 Jan 2013. Poured a cloudy orange colour, with a halo of white head. Aroma of wheat, straw and cooked fruits. Some grassy hop in the flavour, mixed with yeastiness and caramel. Finish was oranges, lemongrass and pine.

DruncanVeasey (7249) - NUNEATON, Top 22, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2014
500ml bottle. Murky orange squash blonde with barely a head. Sour rhubarb and Orval aroma with wet fur and dank pollen, cheesy hop. Almost flat, sourish, amateurish but drinkable with mad skewed Orval and Bazooka chew yeast, green apple, pollen, biscuit, rhubarb. Lemongrass Cascade dwarfed by yeast. Deeply flawed, gone wrong but close to something good.

Gravity pour at Crystal Palace Beer Festival. Slightly yeasty, wheaty aroma. Light body, mild carbonation. A little lemon, grass, white bread. Not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask@Crystals bar, Selhurst Park, London - pours a golden colour with medium white head. Grassy, light citrus hoppy (orange/lemon) and floral, biscuity malts, nice sweet and bitter balance, and easy drinking. Nice.

burnished gold with lacing of offwhite head and steady stream of bubbles. Peaches and leafy hops on the nose. Slightly thin bodied, bitter, herbal hops. Nice enough.

[500ml bottle] Clear as a bell, riffles of rising carbonation and no head. Aroma is honey and lemon. First flavour is lemon, then a touch of fizz, before the aftertaste falls away. Aftertaste is predominantly lemon barley sugar, honeysuckle. It’s Ok, but the total absence of aftertaste is a shame [28012014]
