Beese (1526) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2014
Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 31 Jan 2013. Poured a cloudy orange colour, with a halo of white head. Aroma of wheat, straw and cooked fruits. Some grassy hop in the flavour, mixed with yeastiness and caramel. Finish was oranges, lemongrass and pine.

DruncanVeasey (7112) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2014
500ml bottle. Murky orange squash blonde with barely a head. Sour rhubarb and Orval aroma with wet fur and dank pollen, cheesy hop. Almost flat, sourish, amateurish but drinkable with mad skewed Orval and Bazooka chew yeast, green apple, pollen, biscuit, rhubarb. Lemongrass Cascade dwarfed by yeast. Deeply flawed, gone wrong but close to something good.

Gravity pour at Crystal Palace Beer Festival. Slightly yeasty, wheaty aroma. Light body, mild carbonation. A little lemon, grass, white bread. Not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask@Crystals bar, Selhurst Park, London - pours a golden colour with medium white head. Grassy, light citrus hoppy (orange/lemon) and floral, biscuity malts, nice sweet and bitter balance, and easy drinking. Nice.

Bottle at home from ales by mail
burnished gold with lacing of offwhite head and steady stream of bubbles. Peaches and leafy hops on the nose. Slightly thin bodied, bitter, herbal hops. Nice enough.

BeerCast_Rich (1847) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 28, 2014
[500ml bottle] Clear as a bell, riffles of rising carbonation and no head. Aroma is honey and lemon. First flavour is lemon, then a touch of fizz, before the aftertaste falls away. Aftertaste is predominantly lemon barley sugar, honeysuckle. It’s Ok, but the total absence of aftertaste is a shame [28012014]

Idiosynkrasie (3623) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - DEC 27, 2013
500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Aroma has hints of straw, hay, husk, very subtle fruity hints of peach. Taste is not that far from water - straw, a chalky touch, minimally sweet, subtle fruity hints of peach. Nothing wrong in taste, but very simple, light, anaemic, no flesh on an already weak backbone.

Gravity @ Wandsworth Common BF 2013. The pour’s hazy gold with a small head. The nose is light honey, some white bread, lemon cake. Slightly tart raspberry ripple. The taste is more honey. White grape jellies and toast. Soft grassy countryside bitterness on the finish. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, pleasant enough.
