Draught at Fermen2ren. Pitch black - nice brown head. Chocolate smooth body. Nice coffee. Burned malts. Fruity. Ok hoppy. Light licorice on the tongue. Ok bitterness. Light carcoal. Dry burned. High malty. Lovely. High drinkability.

Pours completely black with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has mild coffee, dark chocolate. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is soft, sweet, good coffee, light herbal bitterness, dark chocolate. A hint of berries. Lovely stout.

Draft at CBC. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted and coffee. Almost felt like drinking a chocolate milkshake with coffee, roasted and caramel flavours. Smooth and full bodied with a low carbonation.

Draught. Black, 1/2 finger stable beige head. Creamy texture, roasty nose, licorice, coffee, milky chocolate. Not too sweet, full body, heavy bitter dry finish, smooth, extremely wellmade and well balanced.

Sample on tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Black colour, tan head. Roasty aroma and flavour, notes of liquorice and coffee, a hint of vomit in the aroma. The flavour is not too sweet, the roastiness and hops are assertive, the liquorice pronounced.

Draught. Low fluffy light brown had. Pitch black body. Roasted malt coffee choccolate aroma. Flavor of roasted malt coffee and choccolate with a hint of vanilla. Low carbonation, long aftertaste. Fair amount of hops bitterness. Alcohol well hidden.

Pours a black beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is roasted, coffee, licorice and sweetness. The flavor follows the nose with additional slate. The palate is roasted with sweetness. Overall a good beer.

Tap @ fermentoren pours pitch black with a small beige espresso brown head. Aroma: some salty savory notes, coffee, chocolate , milky, sweet cream, oatmeal , roasted. Fudge, caramel, light fruity acidity, prunes, plums, light earthy notes, Taste: vanilla, caramel, sweetness , roasted, roasted bitterness, dry aftertaste, milk chocolate , coffee, dried fruits, prunes. And some plum, light grassy, some dusty and light salty notes. Nice!

28-JAN-2012, draft @Fermentoren. Black with brown lasting head. Coffee nose with a dose of hops. Taste is roasted malty and coffee-like. Some chocolate and dark fruits? Quite full and smooth. Long roasted chocolate ending. Really likeable:-)
