Hazy - murky medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, fruity, herbal, moderate yeasty, wood, leather. Initial flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, unclear, unbalanced and a bit messy, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120511]

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours hazy, light red with a fine, white foam head. Fresh pine nose with some toasty malts. Medium sweet flavor with faint caramel and toast, lots of fresh pine, some light, ripe fruits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Crisp, mildly resinous finish with lightly abrasive pine and toasted grass, moderate caramel sugars. Lasting bitter pine. A nice amber ale.
