On tap at Lord Nelsons. Poured quite dark with a minimal head. Nice bitter chocolate aroma Bitter chocolate flavor dominated, quite bitter. I didn’t seem to pick up any orange flavor, but perhaps it was intended to be that way. An enjoyable beer, but feel a hint of orange would make it even better.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 yespr (22204) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - APR 16, 2009
From tap at lord nelson. Pours dark and hazy brown with a small tan head. Solid chocolate aroma. Sweet, roasted and light acidic. Hardroasted malt flavoured, solid acidic touch and bitter chocolate flavoured too. Soft carbonation mouthfeel. Distinct bitterness. Roasted and acidic flavoured finish. No hint of oranges - if that was intended. Tasty, yet a bit too acidic/bitter dry for my liking.
