English: You knew this one was coming. An aggressive IPA with twice as much of everything. Hoppy is an understatement for this super aggressive American style ale. The title refers in part to a great song by Devotchka and part to the fact that this beer will be where it ends, since you will not be able to taste much after this.

Poor foamy Imperial IPA with strong hoppy aroma. It is initially a little watery and luscious taste that quite quickly switch to a strong hoppy flavor, where lots of fruity notes (apricot and citrus) have priority. It is incredibly tasty, but also a beer that very quickly can kill the taste buds and thus become too dominant.

Pours slightly foggy with small head
The aroma has bonbons in it (yet I can’t remember which ones), caramel, slightly meaty, sweet fruits.
Taste has more of those bonbons and very candy-like. Very sweet, but has some bitterness.

Draught @ Olfestival 2011 Kobenhavn. Hazy golden/orange witha frothy off white head. Aroam is a lovely combination of sweet fruits, combined with citric and flowery hops aromas. Flavor is balanced between sweet caramel malts and lots oh fruity hoppiness. Very nice.

Deep amber color, good creamy off-white head. Very bready aroma with underlying hoppy fruityness. Medium-bodied. Sticky bready bitterness, resin, sugars. Long lingering bitterness with some sticky alcohol. I don’t see this DIPA very balanced. It tastes a bit same than American DIPAs when they have aged few months too long in the bottle.

Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a white frothy head. Very nice aroma of floral hops, citrus, pine and exotic fruits. Sweet flavour of floral hops, caramel malts, toffee, citrus and pine. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a finish of alcohol, sweet toffee and hops. Too sweet.

Draught @ Gastropub Nordic, Tampere.
Pours murky amber colour with small head. Aroma of sweet and a bit ripe exotic fruits, caramel, some vegetables and grass. Flavour of sweet fruits, malts, earth, caramel, mild toffee and some syrup. Way too sweet palate with a bitter finish. Somewhat disappointing.

Wonderful, sweetish and fruity aroma with lots of hops, resin and exotic fruits, especially mango. Flavour is a bit too sweet with hops, resin and some exotic fruits. Glue-like, somewhat burning alcohol in the finish. I love the aroma but the taste feels like an oversweet and american DIPA. Also the alcohol disturbs a bit.

Draught. High creamy white lasting head. Hazy orange body. Lemon graperuit lime aroma and flavor. Low carbgonation, long aftertaste.
