Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. DArk amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Bottle. Hazy brown color. Aroma of pine. Taste is light pine resin and peppermint. Decent.

10cl sample at Fairbar, Aarhus. Hazy and rather light. Got that classic red ale smell and taste as well. I think i taste cranberries and a little grape fruit. I like the hops and the bitterness, but except from that nothing special.

Draught at Fermentoren. Dark amber with a head that leaves some lacing. Big, jammy, fruity aroma. There are always hints of smoke and something darker lurking under the lighter elements. Big malt presence and a bracing bite from the hops. Fairly thick, chewy mouthfeel. Good one.

Tap at Fermentoren. #!@# I thought this was going to be a smoked beer. Pours a low hazed mahogany with medium carbonation. Sheets of lace. Strawberry and lemon herbal tea nose. Some sweet tea and honey. Taste is bready, roasty, chocolate, coffee, citrus pith, sap, resin, and pine. Pretty nutty, tannic malt husk, lactic acid, aggressive IBUs. Overly astringent. Palate wrecker.

Pours dark red with a large foamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, malts, caramel and toffee. Taste is malty and slightly hoppy with some fruits and caramel. Finish is fruity and malty. Nice, tasty amber ale.

Pours dark murky amber color with small head. Aroma of sweetish caramel malts, hoppy fruits, mild dark berry notes and spices. Flavour of hoppy fruits, mild caramel malts and dark berries. Quite nice actually, sufficient amount of hops.

Pours a dark amber colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of strong biscuity malts, sweet berries and floral hops. Flavour of biscuity malts, sweet berries, floral hops and citrus. Medium bodied, rough bitter mouthfeel and a rough, bitter and malty finish. Good but a bit too rough.

Aroma is hoppy with fruits, resin and vanilla. Flavour is sweet and malty with vanilla and some berries. Leathery palate and very dry finish with hops. Berry aromas get stronger towards the end of the glass. Good.

Dark amber color with brown and red hue, cloudy, with creamy head. Good aroma of hops, some fruitiness, with an impression of yeast, feety. The body is bold; there is a good malt flavor, strong caramel, with some nice light fruitiness from the hop, before the resins and powerful bitterness kick in. A bit unrefined, but with a vibe.
