Det här är en riktigt bra öl, maltigheten balanseras snyggt mot humlen som blommar ut bra mot slutet. Efterbeskan går inte heller av för hackor och lämnar mig med ett leende på läpparna.

Not sure if this is the correct beer. Had it on tap @ Green Leafe and the menu just said "Raven Black IPA- Denmark" but this is the only Black IPA on the Denmark list that says Raven (at least in English).
Very dark with light brown creamy head. Nice fresh piney/resiny aroma. Tastes light and dry and bitter. Nice refreshing light Black IPA.

Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen
Black color; small beige head. Mild aroma, fresh, with some fruits, chocolate, ember, some yeast; interesting. Medium body strength, roasted malt flavor, but not too aggressive, surely dry, with a refreshing hopping. The final is a bit too dry.
Not bad, but personally I don’t share the passion for Dark IPAs, I just don’t think that the burnt character of black malts fit with the fruitiness of the hops; at least what is needed is some softer roasting level and some sweetness..

Tap, Lord Nelson Aug. ’10. Two fingers of rich foamy tan head; nearly black but mahogany is closer to the color. Big citrusy hops in the aroma, grapefruit, and a touch of roast and chocolate. Coffee flavors come into the flavor, but the bitterness continues leaveing a resiny and piny finish. Very soft body, and a bit lighter. Nice.

Draught at Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival 2010. Black color with rusty head. Sweet roasty aroma with espresso and leather. The flavors of espresso, toffee and licorice. Full body, not so drinkable. Nice coffee aroma and flavor.

Fruity, hoppy, grassy aroma.
Light and fresh with pretty light bitterness.

Has a distinct but not sharp coffee aroma. Mouth is refreshening but mostly reminiscent of a stout, not so much IPA. Taste has some of black wine gums

Draught@SBWF2010. Deep rubyish black colour with small yellowish beige head, which leaves nice lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some slight coffee, chocolate, mild spruce as well as some quite fruity notes. Flavour is fruity, coffeeish, chocolaty, mildly vanillaish and wooden as well. Quite bitter finish.

SBWF 2010. Black colored beer with a huge brown head. Cocoa aroma, chocolate and rather bitter. Chocolate flavor, bitter, grassy, tar. Bitter finish.

Draft @ Gastro, Helsingborg. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Fruity licorice malty hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy licorice flavor. Roasted malty hoppy bitter finish.
