Bottled 330ml (Pikkulintu, BB 01/2012)
Hazy orange color, small white head. Citrus, bread and some pine in the nose. Medium-bodied. Citrusy, pale malty, bready. Lingering citrus in the aftertaste. Citra dominates. Not the most freshiest bottle anymore.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 yngwie (10761) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 5, 2012
Bottle. A creamy, finger-thick off-white head sits on top of an almost clear, golden body. The aroma is resiny and citrusy, leaving little room for the malts. Pleasant. Flavorwise the maltyness is more evident, but left in the back, it’s the hops that run the show, with resins and a nice bitterness stretching out into the very end. Smooth and full-bodied on the palate. A really pleasant pale ale, one that I could easily down a few of quite frequently. 110610

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 10, 2011
(Draught@Pikkulintu, rated 2011-07-08) Hazy golden with a small, firm and creamy, lasting head. Aromatic, exotic-fruity nose with orangey citrusness and pale malt. Quite heavily bitter flavor, with the bitterness lingering in the palate for a long time. In the middle, there is some aromatic, exotic fruit, slight sourness, and caramely maltiness. Slightly thin and carbonated palate. Way too much bitterness for the body, and lacking in the fruitiness department.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - AUG 27, 2011
Bottle from Kihøskh, Copenhagen Deep blond color, hazy; generous head. Very nice aroma, of fruity and resiny hops, with sweat and manure, hay. As expected from Croocked Moon, the mouthfeel is extremely dry; it’s also lean; dry toffee flavor, dry caramel; very strong bitterness, with generous amounts of hop oils and resins, leading to a long and almost harsh final. Extreme and thirst quenching.
