A light blonde ale that is complimented with real raspberries and rounded out with Northwest hops (Galena, Cascade and Ahtanum) to create a balanced, refreshing beer.

Picked this up at the COOP last night ... Poured now into my HotD goblet... nice foamy half-inch white head.. the brew is slightly hazy golden. The nose shows pretty big berry essence.. but it seems sorta artificial.. almost "TOO" clean if "that" can actually be a bitch... light pale malts push the fruits and actually magnify it... but again, it just doesn’t seem real with the aroma. Flavor is dead on expected... nice fruity profile that jives with the lower ABV... pale maltiness is there only to deliver the fruit... not much else to report... decent/good beer that I would never pass off. Body is spritzy medium... nice, but not for me.... I though think this will be a big winner with the "Non-Geeks"... How do you get the word out there???

Can courtesy of nuplastikk, thanks! Hazy golden color, fine bubble white head with good retention and solid lacing. Big dusty, earthy raspberry aroma. Taste has white pepper, earthy fruit, dusty straw, dry finish. Decent.

Very hazy, dark straw colored liquid. Smaller white head. Pale grains and malt aromas, with a bit of fruit. Not really catching raspberries, more a general light fruity sweetness. Sweet from the start. Again, sweet grains and fruit. This time the raspberry is more pronounced; not overflowing but recognizable. Rather bitter finish and linger.

12oz can. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Big, steady, foamy, off-white head. Pretty solid raspberry aroma. The hops dry it out some, which isn’t really a bonus, but give it a little more depth perhaps. Pretty decent for the style. Respectable offering.

12oz can picked up at Bier:Thirty
Pours hazy yellow with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Aroma is fruity, cereal and doughy. The taste is raspberries, grainy, herbal and bitter lemon
I didn’t enjoy this one, strange beer.

12 oz can. Smells grassy and floral, sort of dusty. No fruit to speak of. The taste is a stale grassy metallic thing with a really weak artificial raspberry kick. Ugh. Maybe this sat in the fridge to long. Not good.

On draught at b² Taphouse. Light clear golden color. Aroma is fresh raspberry jam. Taste is also raspberry, but with more grain and a bitter grass note. Clean finish with a touch of bitterness.

The only beer from CF I can even drink a pint of. Fairly balanced, drinkable… Too bad they have chosen to go with the whole girl/sex/female objectification thing on the label. I won’t buy it just for that.

Can from an extra in a trade, Thanks Darrel! Pours a fairly typical looking blonde with a slight reddish tinge to it. Thick white head. Aroma was certainly raspberry with cereal, dough and flowers. The taste was raspberry but it seemed a little synthetic to me. It was a mix of slight sweetness and a mild tartness that I’m not sure if it was desired or not. The balance just seemed a little off and the fruit didn’t blend very well with the blonde ale. Light body, medium carb. Overall it was refreshing.

This was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat It poured a amber-orange with a thin white head. Nose of raspberry. Medium body with a fizzy mouthfeel. Flavor is light malts, raspberry (somewhat muted), and some mild bitterness in the finish. The bitterness offsets the fruit and makes this pretty drinkable.

Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This beer was golden, a bit dingy, and also a bit hazy. An off white head never quite left. The aroma is raspberry and earth with wheat. This is a little better than most of the style. It is a style that definitely has a couple of places. It is a lawnmower beer, and it is a beer that brings women into brewpubs. Two good things.
