LuckeyHaskins99 (180), Toledo, Ohio, USA Feb 18, 2002 A gift for me from my dad in ’99. Tasted like the ’Baqllpark Brew’ Crooked River used to make for Jacob’s field, only had a salty taste, why? Because I was crying tears of joy when I drank it. Not a remarkable brew, but the label is proudly on my wall.
crizay (1070), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Dec 23, 2006 I can’t believe this was in my friends fridge since ’99, we had to drink this hardcore Cleveland Browns fans beer. Golden pour, still a slight head. Taste like any other crappy pale lager, slight malts with corn and all that other crap mixed in and with a semi sweet probably oxidized taste, and no hops. After 7 years and being in a fridge this beer held up, I just wish it were a good beer to begin with. Panzuriel (960), Westerville, Ohio, USA Mar 13, 2003 Nice golden colored beer with good head. Nice malty aroma. Full malty taste. very good finish. Full Mouthfeel. Nate (2239), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 1, 2002 Hoppy, fresh aroma. Nice head, golden color. Moderate carbonation. Tasted hops and a bit of a worty flavor. Had a chalky sweet after that reminded me of Smarties. Beer Guy99 (250), Maineville, Ohio, USA Nov 5, 2001 Very enjoyable light golden ale with no adjuncts at all. This all malt brew is full of flavor and is still light enough to share with your less experienced beer drinking friends. Very enjoyable beer.
