On draught at the brewery, this pours golden into the glass, with a lightly retentive suds head that leaves ring lacing. The nose is full of clove and lots of herbal notes. Nice sours in the mouth, with a wallop of herbs hitting mid-palate. The balance is nice, semi-zesty mouthfeel with a medium-light body and easily quaffable in the summer heat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy gold from the bottle with thin ring of white bubbly head. Aroma of big brett funk, farmhouse and citrus. Taste is more toward the sour, nice acidity with a bit of woody butric acid on the back end. Light carbonation, medium body, smells better than it tastes. Really nice overall.

Draft at the source. Clear golden yellow color, solid white head. Potent herbal aroma. Taste is herbal as well, hard to identify. Interesting and unique.

Bottle with the Medici- pours hazy light bet with thick cream head that sticks around. Nice lacing. Nose of funky barnyard, some cherry, maybe a little yogurt and vinous oak white wine notes. Nice carbonation with oak, vinous white wine grape and champagne characteristics along with some lactic acid, funky barnyard and tartness on the finish. Nice and dry, thirst quenching and damn good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy golden copper with a large foamy and sticky white head. Lovely nose of crushed dead leaves and spicy funky saison with some barreled fruity sourness. Lovely bright flavor with Belgian blonde grains and hay behind some funky sour tones and bright herbal notes and a slight dusty and peppery finish. Really great.

Bottle Autumn 2014. Pour has a light amber color with a thin coating of white head. Aroma has mild tartness, fruity yeast, licorice, lemon, and malt. Mouth feel is medium with good carbonation. Flavor has a medicinal thing going on, well malted, good tartness, lemon, herbs, oak, and a pleasant finish.

Pours slightly hazy apricot with a fairly thick and rather persistent ivory head. Malty aroma has strong fruity and spicy overtones - cinnamon, dusty herbs, pear, apple, a hint of oak. Fruity flavor is mainly cinnamon and slightly sour apple plus herbs, cloves, oak, and whispers of licorice and butterscotch. Texture is firm and smooth, and somewhat fizzy. Well, it’s autumn south of the equator - enjoy it in any season.
