Slightly hazy yellow orange in color, some sediment... Aroma of weeds, herbs, sage, thyme, earth, citrus... Flavor is lightly tart, lemons, thyme, herbs... Solid beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml June 2015 bottle from Craft Beer Cellar. Aroma: wild peppery and herbal (thyme?) brett mixed run huge amount of lemon, even soapy. App: cloudy pale, medium white head and little retention but good lacing. Taste and palate: light to medium body, quite tart and fruity, maybe a bit of apples and apricots, medium acidity finish tingling my cheeks which is a feeling. Overall: enjoy the palate but the aroma and taste feels a bit like I?m drinking Sunlight Dish soap mixed with thyme. I?m not a bit fan of thyme but we get used to it and I even got to the point of appreciating the beer.

Excellent balance. Wild barnyard, lemon zest, dusty herbs and earth. Mild malt sweetness, mild Belgian yeast. I really dig this one.

Unprecedented cardamom and a basket full of halved tangerines enchant the sniff station while moldy cumin and pineapple-glazed corn flakes find peace in the food pipe. Chemically tanned leather and competent Belgian esters play in anchovy paste. Flavor. Massively balanced.

Bottle from Boxbeers.dk. Pours yellow/golden with white head. Sour aroma with fresh herbs, citrus and light yeast. Citrus / lemon taste with hints of thyme, sage and fresh rosemary. Highly refreshing and lightly tart. Wonderful stuff again from Crooked Stave.

Bottle shared by a friend. Clear, yet chunky yellow pour with a medium white head. Aroma of funk, sage and citrus. Bretty funk flavor with lemon tartness before an herbal sage finish.

Bottle@home. Near clear small head. Oak floral sage thyme. Tart dry low bitterness. More citrus than malt. Very pure brew. Sourness rules. Nice and fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crooked Stave Colorado Wild Sage is a sage-infused and barrel-aged Saison or Sour type thing. It pours yellow-orange with a lovely blanket of head. Sage and citrus in the aroma - beautiful smells, really. Good flavors, too. A lovely blend of sweet, sour, and savory. While the alcohol heat is a little hotter than I’d like in a Sour/Saison, I’d happily drink another one of these with a feast.

Bottle @ home. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a white head. Aroma has lots and lots of brett funk which is very rural and barnyard-ish. Also lots of sweeter citrus notes, white wine, weak leather, some mandarin peel, sweet herbs and some peppery notes. Surprisingly funky. The taste is rather citrusy with lots of funk as well. More acidic than you would expect I think. Lots of citrus, lime, herbs and weak orange/mandarin peel. Pretty nice and simple stuff.
