Cloudy, deep gold pour, white head. Loved this beer. The sage plays so well with the beer. The light tartness, the sage, light oak, very light fruity notes. I would drink this with a lot of different foods. Really really a beer I enjoyed. Tap at The Source, GABF week.

Draft on tap at The Source (Denver, CO). Pours a nice dulled golden yellow hue, firm haziness in the body with frothy offwhite head atop. A nice layer dies to a thicker ring that laces well throughout. Aromas are tart, a bit of spicy sage with earth, lactic elements, gentle funk and cobwebs. Mellow bread, straw and spice. Initial is lighter overall in body with a firm bitter slant, spicy sage with lemon, oak and some citric elements. Bitter rind, bitter hops are floral, soem bread, gentle straw. Middle is is dry, bitter, some cereal bit furmly bitter as we come out. Funky brett, touch of yogurt with earth, more sage, green earth and gentle herbal feel. Dry, funky brett, bitter earth as we finish. A bit of sourness up front makes way for a more bitter and funky backedn. Earthy spicy sage. Solid.

on TaP at the Source, in Denver, last beer before we skedaddled .. . deep amber .. medium foam details .. . brett, mild spice, and herbs .. . refreshing and uplifting, the sage works well .. . . A brothel, but for petting high quality cats. Maybe even more than one at a time.

On tap at Crooked Stave. Pours a hazy golden color with white head. Sage, oregano, spice rack aromas. Tart, hay, fruity, sage flavors. Very interesting, normally I hate sage type beers.

Draft at the Source, Crooked Stave, with Andrew. Pours a hazy bright golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is herbal - leafy sage, oak and light tart character. Mouthfeel is super weird - lots of sage, grass, oak, and herbal/vegetable character. Nice, but a bit too much sage.

On tap @ the Source. Murky yellow orange appearance with a white head. Very floral, grassy, sage, green herbal nose with a bit of funk. Slightly tart. Juicy citrus. Heavy green flavor. Ok.

Draft tulip at The Source - giving CS a try after a long quasi-boycott (I’m not against their products, I just kind of lost.interest) - this kinda reminds me why I lost interest - a bit of funkiness, a touch of oak, gentle sage, some dense yeastiness - sadly, there is also a strong acidity that is only somewhat b alanced by the sweetness of the malt - finish, much like other CS products I have had, is tongue-curling, oaky bitterness that just lingers forever - perhaps I am just more sensitive to this than others, because the finish really tastes like I am sucking on oak to me - some nice.qualities, but overall hard to completely enjoy.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass light yellow, small head. Mild sourish-fruity aroma. Starts sourish-malty, fine fruity with lemon notes. Finish still mild, modest sour. Quite drinkable. Nice!
