Botle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong sage, floral, brett. Medium mouth, brett, sage, funk, light dry finish, very nice.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out lots of sage, with a little citrus and barely any brett. Flavour is massively lemony, with loads of sage and citrus tang. Not much brett noticeable here. It’s well-constructed, with low acidity. Very nice stuff.

I love the fruit these guys get out of their beers. A little spice on the back end of the palate. Lemon and mango mid palate. Aroma of hay and spice. Big body. Mild sour and closer to a sour ipa for me.

Beer in the glass light yellow, small head. Mild sourish-fruity aroma. Starts sourish-malty, fine fruity with lemon notes. Finish still mild, modest sour. Quite drinkable. Nice

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a pillowy white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma has some funk and a lemon tartness blended with herbs and hay. Lemongrass flavor and sage are evident in the taste with a mild lemon tartness and a balanced herbaceous and grassy character. Some funk from the yeast and a slight peppery spiciness. Finishes mostly dry with a bit of tartness until your palate acclimates. Light/medium bodied with high carbonation. I was worried that the sage would be overpowering but it remains in balance with the other flavors and is a good compliment to the lemongrass. Would gladly drink this again.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, fizzy/frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with a strong note of sage, other notes of pickles, lemon juice, band aid. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter, herbal-spicy. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy/lively carbonation, lightly to moderately astringent. Wow, what a grotesque, clumsy beer. Aroma is almost entirely sage, and the next-strongest aroma is pickles. Watery and fizzy in the mouth, and acrid to boot. Lots of retronasal sage as you might expect. A novelty beer, and a poor one at that. Drain pour bad.

On tap @ Crooked Stave @ The Source. Clear golden pour with white foam. Smells kind of like a mix of sweet pickles and fresh sage. Very grassy and herbal overall. Sort of vinegary tasting and very herbal. Definite pickle taste. Sort of salty, sour, and slightly sweet. Light fruitiness as well. A really odd beer.
