Tap into a wineglass showing well filtered yellow with half a finger of white foam. The nose shows sage and mint. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Flavors of the sage and a hints of lemon tartness. No bitterness.

On tap at The Sovereign. Gold body with medium head. Nose is citrus, sour. Taste floral, skunky with citrus bursts. Pretty good.

Bottle, shared at RBAG by me. Medium bright gold. Funky and lightly herbal, tart and dry with a peppery finish.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a glossy burnt yellow color with a smooth foamy almost looks like thick cream sitting atop of the beer in a nice mountainous rocky manner. It lasts for a good portion of the beer. The smell starts off with a big sweet lemon pulpiness shining through some sweet lemongrass and sage. The rush of sweet refreshing clean floral to herbal qualities burst through for a stellar balance. The flavor leans sweet through the floral/sage/herbal qualities. Sweet floral aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a spectacular sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light to allow sweet herbal qualities to stick on my tongue but not cloying. Overall, a wonderful saison that I would love to have again.

(Crooked Stave Colorado Wild Sage) Tap 150 ml at BeerTemple. Bright yellow colour on the body, hazy, good sized white thick head with good retention. Lots of floral notes on the aroma, hibiscus, rose petals. Sour taste with floral notes, hibiscus, jasmin, grass. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Pretty good.

Murky straw. Around is definitely herbal sage, slight tart but not crazy. Flavors are strong sage, herbal and sour, really neat but a bit perfumy

Pours a rusty copper color with a long lasting white beige head. Nose is funk, tart citrus and grass with moderate funk. Taste is funk, spicy with citrus, grass ...nicely confluenced ! Finishes on the same tart grassy notes with nice funk with a moderately long sour citrus ending. Nice lacing as well . Love those sours ! Quaff Score 8 / 10

The good thing is this isn't very safe-y, so you don't get walloped by veggie flavors. It's well balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Moderate grain and straw for the malt, grass for the hops, heavy barnyard and dried leaves for the yeast, with green apple, white wine and vinegar in the background. Head is small, frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear light amber. Flavor starts harshly acidic and acetic, then finishes heavily acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, dry, with a fizzy carbonation and a tart finish. 14 A really great smelling Wild Ale with nice farmhouse aromas.
