Pours clear light golden with good white head. Aroma of sage, funk, banana, lime, bubblegum. Decent carbonation and medium mouth feel. Taste of apple, brett, lemon, sage, carrot! Nicely balanced sour/saison. Finish is dry with low bitterness. this bottle has been aged for 12 months and I think was worth the wait

Draught at the brewery. High fluffy white lasting head. Hazy yellow body. Acidic brett aroma with a powerful sage note. Flavor of course also with brett but the sage is not so dominant and the acidity of lemon and grapefruit comes though. Low carbonation, long finish. Alcohol nicely hidden.

375ml bottle. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has strong herbs. Sage is nice in the beer. Miild acidity and a moderate floral funk. Medium body and medium to high carbonation.

Tap into a wineglass showing well filtered yellow with half a finger of white foam. The nose shows sage and mint. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Flavors of the sage and a hints of lemon tartness. No bitterness.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a glossy burnt yellow color with a smooth foamy almost looks like thick cream sitting atop of the beer in a nice mountainous rocky manner. It lasts for a good portion of the beer. The smell starts off with a big sweet lemon pulpiness shining through some sweet lemongrass and sage. The rush of sweet refreshing clean floral to herbal qualities burst through for a stellar balance. The flavor leans sweet through the floral/sage/herbal qualities. Sweet floral aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a spectacular sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light to allow sweet herbal qualities to stick on my tongue but not cloying. Overall, a wonderful saison that I would love to have again.

(Crooked Stave Colorado Wild Sage) Tap 150 ml at BeerTemple. Bright yellow colour on the body, hazy, good sized white thick head with good retention. Lots of floral notes on the aroma, hibiscus, rose petals. Sour taste with floral notes, hibiscus, jasmin, grass. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Pretty good.
