375 ml. bottle, shared with Gabe. Pours a thin poorly retained off white head, over a yellow (SRM 4), particle laden (bottom half of bottle).......nose heavy citrus, light sage, light lactic acid, no hops......taste is heavy lemon grass, hints of sage, moderate lactic sourness, no hops.....mouth feel, light of medium body, minimal alcohol, slight astringency. This is a very pleasant, easy drinking sour, that could be in the spice herb vegetable category. The underlying Saiaon is quite hidden by the sourness, BJCP 6/2/10/4/5

Wildly underrated in my opinion. Hazy golden color with foamy white head. Aroma is lemongrass, sage, light dough, mild cheese, citrus, and grass. Herbal tart beer with a lemon character. Hugely chuggable.

A bottle picked up in Boulder, pours hazy gold with a fast-settling head, aromas of sage, funky horse blanket and a citric sourness. Tart and dry-sweet, with a herbal snatch, hints of sour lemon and wormwood bitterness. Finish is lemony, tart, herbal bitter and sweet.

Draught, small creamy head, cloudy lemon yellow color, aroma of dijon mustard, sage and some nutmeg, flavor of lemon and unripe fruits, sage, nutmeg and leathery funky notes, piercing but mellow sournes. Excellent brew, the herbs complement but do not overpower.

At the brewery during GABF week, 2015. Dry and herbal from the first scent of the aroma. Gold color, and very well carbonated as it should be. Yeast is noticeable. Not sweet at all, flavor with sage and fresh green plants. Dry. Very high quality saison.

Bottle, pours bright orange & yellow gold. Small fizzy head. Fresh aroma, light malts, medium tart lemon, herbal & floral notes, the sage comes through. The finish is dry, lightly bitter, some lemon sharpness and tartness. All tastes very fresh.

Slightly hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is a very pleasant mix of fresh, green herbs and brett funk. Taste starts tart and refreshing with the lemongrass very present at first. To the end you can taste the sage too but it’s not too intense. Mouthfeel is quite soft but the crisp carbonation balances it out. Alcohol is very well hidden. Really good combination, all the components of this beer are integrated very well.
