Bottle from Proof. Yellow-gold pour with big root beer float head. Aroma is amazing - brett funk, oak, intense fruit. Tastes are dusty, lightly bitter, fruit, jam on bread, lemon, bandaid funk. Finishes a dry oaky bitter. Very very interesting.

On Tap at Choice City Deli in Colorado. Clear light amber with good head, good retention and lacing. Aroma of light fruit, resiny, sort of briney. Crisp bitter flavor with some citrus like nectarines. Medium/full body with crisp mouthfeel and medium high carbonation. Big tasty flavor but still probably a sipper.

Tasting Cumming, GA. Noted by my Denver bud as Batch 1. This was the first opened and remained as a favorite as the day went on. Hops were certainly prevelant in comparison to the rest of the sours of the day. Citrus and bubbly soap hops, with a milder tartness that lends to a unique hoppy sour finish. I love this for its uniqueness. The Brett was kind of subdued. But let it develop and you lose the hops. Regardless nice brew.

Forsyth County Bumble Tasting. Pours clear pear with minimal white head. Grape, earth, and touch of hops on nose. Boozey sweet earth flavor. Not overly sour. Less live than most wilds. Interesting hopped version of wild ale. Bottle - Shared by Westmeister

Bottle from Luekens in Clearwater, FL. Poured into a snifter at home. Light, hazy color of gold and wheat chaff with a thick white pillow head. Head lasted and laced like crazy. The powerful aroma of brett, lemon citrus, grass, hay, cereal, and barnyard was amazing. The taste was the same with the brett dominant in creating a barnyard funk with the balanced malts to dial it down a little. So damn good. Light body, refreshing, dry, and crisp. I could drink this all day (with some TUMS of course.)

375ml bottle. Almost clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Sourish, hoppy and bretty aroma. Taste is mildly sourish, slightly bretty, minimally citrusy hoppy. Not overly complex, disappointing.

Bottle to glass. Gold pour with a nice bone white head that has some staying power. Nose is lemon peel, tart, floral, and oak. Taste is full of sharp lemon peel, citrus, earthiness, some hop and hay bitterness and a nice dry finish.

Bottle at a friends house snowed in dc pours hazy orange with a small fizzy white head and no lacing. Nose is funky and soapy at the same time. Hmm wierd but I like it. Flavors are soapy hoppy and lots of funk. Almost plastic notes. Long citric and soapy finish with lingering notes of funk. Very cool funky pale ale here! Dint know where the soapy notes came from.

Countbeer (5880) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 16, 2014
Bottle: Thanks Papsø: Served in a Chouffe glass: Big white foamy head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Aroma is nice crispy with the brett. There’s some citrus and wood, stone and lemon, manure and flowers, cactus and soap, hops and smooth wild yeast. Flavours are a crispy mix of fruits like peach, apricot, some citrus, yeast, brett, dust, stone, flowers, some pine, some herbs, some bitters... Fruity, flowery, lovely! Aftertaste is a bit dry yeasty with hops, fruits, bitters and some malts. Low carbo, creamy foamy mouthfeel, good medium bodied and a creamy mouthfeel. Crispy, fruity with flowers and bitters. Good beer but absolutely no sour ale!
