Cloudy gold pour with a 3 finger, fluffy off white head. Aroma is big on citrus, tropical fruit and cat box hops, sweaty bretty funk, green wood tartness, and some toasty wood notes. Flavor is full of sweaty brett funk up front, some fallen leaves earthy funk, sweaty dishwater, light, sort of sweet wood notes, lots of citrus and some tropical fruit and cat box hoppy notes, but not nearly as much as the aroma indicates. Light to medium body, neutral to dry entry, off dry finish and light, but sharp and blanketing carbonation. Really good stuff overall, after the first couple of sips the sweaty/dishwater notes die down and it is actually quite enjoyable.

Big,big Brett funk here. It is all I get in the nose. Same with the taste. Slightly sour with citric notes. Farmyard all the way. The hops are pretty much gone. Maybe I got an old bottle. If it was called just a farmhouse Brett beer I would give it higher but the lack of bitterness is a minus.

Craft Clerkenwell. Tuesday Horal Chugging Tasting! Very hazy gold beer with a small white head. Light airy palate with light and fine carbonation. Very light geuzy sourness with mildly tropical fruits hpos, fairly grapey. Molding it all together is light floralness. Finishes light. A tasty a little number!

Aroma is fruit, sugar and an odd/unique perfumed element. The flavor is citrus, fruit, mild hop resin, slick texture, odd funk and a very tangy/slightly bitter finish.

Well so far save one these Crooked Stave beers have not done it for me. This one predominantly tasted like dusty grapefruit. Sharp and bitter. Fluffy. Probably the last 100% brett beer I drink.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2013 Bottle @ home picked up at Wilburs and RJs in Fort Collins. I would re-classify this as a Wild Ale like Wild Wild Brett Green. Pours a milky yellow orange appearance with a spidery, off-white head. Fucken a bro. This smells really excellent. Pineapple, guava, mango, vanilla, barnyard, funky brett, oak aroma that’s fairly spicy with tons of fresh hops. Really smells amazing. Fairly soft mouth feel. A touch bitter, herbal, somewhat spicy hoppy flavor with a sweet malty backbone. Light funk, vanilla, oak, tropical fruit notes with a just a wee bit of tartness. Finishes with mostly herbal notes. This should be pretty interesting as the brett develops more. I really enjoyed the aroma on the beer right now, but I think I will enjoy the flavor better with a little more brett presence. Easily chuggable and definitely a fine specimen to get buzzed quick on.

375mL bottle. Pours a hazy light amber with a white head. Citrus, lemon, some funky yeast, band-aid notes from the Brett. Very tasty and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at cheese shop in Des Moines, IA. Poured into a wine glass. Definitely makes the head explode when you take a whif. Hops are immediately dominate. Taste bounces around your palette like a odd sensation I'm doing something wrong that's so right. Enjoy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
