Bottle. Batch 3 (Galaxy). Clear light amber liquid with medium to big, firm off-white head. Aroma of mango, fruity funk, barnyard, bread, pine, citrus, grapefruit, tangerine and lemon peel. Smells really nice. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of tangerine, mango, bread and barnyard. Light oak. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Really nice. Great hoppiness and funkyness.

Pours a clear gold with a nuge foamy white head...awesome lacing and retention. Aroma is funky with nice brett, light spice, mild leather. Flavor follows suit...nice earthy hops and mild oak...funky and dry. Mouthfeel is light and crisp...finish lingers to intense earthy bitterness.

Bottle from Dennis, thanks! "426" on the back. Pours hazy yellow with a white head, nice lacing on the glass. Aroma has brett and citrus. Taste is crisp, bretty with citrus and some yeast notes as well. So refreshing! Light/medium body, soft carbonation. Ends dry and woody with slight soapy bitterness.
Bring me sunshine and another bottle of this, please!

Centennial and Simcoe, Batch 2, 2013. Clear pale yellow with a 1 1/2 finger off-white head, fair retention. Big rosy floral nose with fruity tangy pineapple behind, light biscuit malt. Flavor is more pineapple-y with a nice tart component, the malt adding just a tinge of sweetness to complement. I also get the slightest hint of iodine, though I may be mistaken. Earthy bitterness peaked at a 3-4ish, sourness a 3. Moderate carbonation with a light body. Very tasty and refreshing. A bit Orval-esque, but this has a more tartness.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a dense and lacing off-white head. Bretty aroma with quite some citrusy hops up front. Medium body, sweet fruitiness, rather yeasty but also a less than pleasant medicinal touch. A distinct hoppiness. 271213

Sweet trade bonus beer courtesy of adnielsen. The bottle pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a bright white head. The aroma offers up apricot, peach and mango like fruitiness as well as some lime citrus tartness, acidity and yeastiness. The taste begins with a mix of sweet mango and peach and then it quickly gets into citrus tartness and acidic lime like notes. I like how the acidity doesn’t dominate here but the malts and hops are more forward.

Bottle from Gurd at Gurd’s bottle tasting evening. Very pleasant experience. To start with it’s an excellent IPA, but the nudges of Brett add an extra layer of interest. Nice mingling of notes. Liked.
