Bottle from more backlog. Pours out a mostly clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma is complex, nice funky notes, wood, some sourdough bread, light piney/citrus bitterness and some wet wood that intensifies as it warms. Taste is complex, lots of funky doughy, light tart notes, with a solid amount of bitterness that lingering along with some bandaid funk, light horse blanket. This one was really tasty.

Bomber from friends cellar. Dark amber and hazy with a small lasting head. Looks great. Musty sweet and sour with mango aroma. Puckering bretty mouthfeel with medium acidity. Meh. Ill stick to suerette.

330ml bottle (Birofilia2014, Zywiec)
Cloudy pale orange. Lovely funky sour aroma. Orangy and apricot fruitiness. Smooth palate. Very fruity in the mouth. Alas this was the final pour from the bottle, so was way yeastier than I’d like. Not as crisp in the palate certainly. There was some odd herbal aspect to the aroma too. Interesting, wouldn’t mind trying some of the variations of this.

Bottle shared by David. Thanks. This was interesting. I really enjoyed the nose, but I felt like the flavor fell off a bit. Lots of lemon acidity. Nice bretty and hoppy balance in nose. A little overly dusty bretty with a biting acidity and medium bitter finish. Slightly muddled mouthfeel.

Pour is lightly hazed golden amber with a tight white head and a few larger bubbles. Nose is heavy citrus bret, lots of orange juice aromas an some citrusy hops. Some light notes of leathery dusty bret as well. Taste is similar, not quite as bright. The citrus is all around with dusty leathery bret in back. Light bitterness and some hop citrus with a moderate carbonation and a very light, delicate body.

Bottle #462 Thanks to crajun for taking this off my "wants" list! Pours clear yellow with a fleeting, small, white head. Tart apple yeasty Brett nose. The flavor is tart, fruity and clean. Spritzy, easy drinking, refreshing.
