3/3/14. 375mL bottle from the Louisville Beer Store. Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head. Funky aroma, lightly tart, some orange and citrus, a touch of vinegar. Light funky flavor, lightly tart, floral, a certain minerally aspect. Slick mouthfeel. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a hazy yellowish gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with some tropical fruit, a bit of funk, tartness and a hint of earthy grain. Flavor has more of a tart tropical fruit and citrus combination with a a touch funk towards the finish.

Excelente.

Bottle from Proof. Deep golden pour with a frothy white head. Big funky yeast aroma, oak, citrus rind, pizza shop, dried hops and sourdough, dry spicy and citrusy hops in the flavor with yeast fuck, sourdough, oak, touches of vanilla and lactic acid. Lively carbonation and bright slightly acidic citrus. Nice stuff.

Bottle 375ml from Henrik many thanks. A cloudy yellow beer with huge head. Nose is intense on grapefruit, a bit ugly. Aroma is brett like at the beginning with good malty notes, then a tart vomit like aroma comes with intense graprefuit notes. Near to dental infection, very unbalanced, horrible, why such a hops bouquet ?

Tasted on 2/19/13 from a capped 375mL bottle purchased at Jug Shop. Pours hazy light orange with a thick white head that leaves average lace and a messy lacing along the inside of the glass. The nose is tropical fruit, citrus, and floral hops with some funky brett and plenty of sour citrus. The flavor is more sour lemon up front with the tropical fruit and citrus hops showing on the back with a bit of bitterness. The body is medium with lively carbonation and a long sour tropical fruit finish.

375mL capped bottle into Lost Abbey teku. Big big big foamy heady atop a cloudy yellow body. Very pretty beer but that’s about where the complements end. THIS is HORRID. Ugh, did I get a bad bottle or is everyone taking crazy pills. Aroma starts with a fresh airy Brett yeastiness,. Then comes a horrible rancid Brett and chemical tones with cheesy hops. So much cheese and rancid hops. I’ll give it that there is a nice breezy aspect to the rancid oil and cheese. Mouthfeel is nicely light and bright but that just emphasizes the horrible chemical aftertaste. Oh finishes so solvent like and light lemon vinegar. Then bitter aftertaste. Man, this is the worst, what a waste of money and my time.

Bottle @ Vinoble Dalumvej, Odense. Pours hazy yellow Golden With a White creamy head. Amazing intense aroma. Oak, Brett, barnyard and fruity hops - mostly citrus. Flavor is just as intense and complex. Delicious and rather genius Wild ale.
