375mL capped bottle into Lost Abbey teku. Big big big foamy heady atop a cloudy yellow body. Very pretty beer but that’s about where the complements end. THIS is HORRID. Ugh, did I get a bad bottle or is everyone taking crazy pills. Aroma starts with a fresh airy Brett yeastiness,. Then comes a horrible rancid Brett and chemical tones with cheesy hops. So much cheese and rancid hops. I’ll give it that there is a nice breezy aspect to the rancid oil and cheese. Mouthfeel is nicely light and bright but that just emphasizes the horrible chemical aftertaste. Oh finishes so solvent like and light lemon vinegar. Then bitter aftertaste. Man, this is the worst, what a waste of money and my time.

Bottle @ Vinoble Dalumvej, Odense. Pours hazy yellow Golden With a White creamy head. Amazing intense aroma. Oak, Brett, barnyard and fruity hops - mostly citrus. Flavor is just as intense and complex. Delicious and rather genius Wild ale.

Bottle from Proof. Pours a very hazy golden yellow with hints of orange. The color of fresh pineapple. This bottle was alive. When I popped the cap off it started coming right out of the bottle. I had to pour immediately. Very large bubbly white head with hints of orange. Sticky in some areas of the glass, apparently this glass wasn’t cleaned well, my bad. Head retention is great, nice layer on top and thick collar at the edges of the glass. Aroma is very juicy. I smell fresh squeezed OJ and some mango and pineapple. Nice musty, barnyard like aromas as well. Taste is identical to the aroma. Juicy juicy juicy... Tart and tangy citrus with a little bit of dry yeast funk present throughout. Thick, creamy body. Feels almost like a nitro beer.

POurs unclear golden with a beige head. Aroma has lots of floral notes, wild brett notes, barnyard, sweet citrus fruits, rural notes and hoppy. A little bit perfume and soapy notes - but not in a bad way (if that is possible). Taste is hoppy along with some tartness, barnyard, citrus fruits and rural barnyard notes. The sour and the bitter blends together really well in this beer!

Cuerpo medio. Bastante buena. Interesante combinación ácida y amarga.

Bottle @CBC Clerkenwell thanks to Ben’s cuddly ginger bear (TheMuzz). Pours gold and clear, looks like you could just dive in and swim. Not a huge but you do get a big dollop of brett funk about it. On the palate spicy/hoppy/yeasty and great.

Fine head, minimal lacing, murky gold colour, sour taste, hoppy nose, well rounded taste and very complex, a tad bit astringent with a bitter aftertaste. Settles down quickly and becomes much more dry and astringent.

Pours clear rich golden with a medium beige head, fine lasting lacing. Farmyard, spice, bubblegum, grass, pine, and biscuit aromas. Thin, somewhat watery body, soft carbonation. Lightly sweet, mild to medium sour, mild bitter finish with an enjoyable lingering funk and earthy hop notes. Subtle and refined, a good blend of a complex elements, yet very quaffable.
