Bottle. Hazy gold with a big rocky white head. Aroma is citrus and earthy funk. Taste follows suit but the yeast has a very rubbery character. Medium mouthfeel with good carbonation. On the whole not bad but I think the Brett strain these guys use is not my cup of tea.

12 fl. oz., De Molen Beershop, Bodegraven.
Cloudy yellow one with a small white head that diminishes quickly and stays as a small lacing one on the surface. Barnyard, lemon, straw and citrusses, tart in the nose. Medium body with a tart mouthfeel, fruity notes of hops, some resinous character. Lemon and sourish citrusses in the aftertaste.

WOOF! This is probably the most pucker I've ever gotten out of a sour. Aroma has a weird innertube kind of smell. Flavor is bready and wheaty after you get past the pucker.

On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. A cloudy deep orangey/orange looking one with a small but surprisingly lacing white top. On the nose it’s light woody and hoppy with some bashing detergent fruitiness and traces of grass and brett. . Smells really good. More detergents in the taste. A bit harsh to say the least. Almost yeast smoky in a bad way. In the mouth it’s mouthdrying but oily in texture while the carbonation is above average. Sour peaches with wood, burned matches, that bitter detergent and dandelions. Not the best Crooked I’ve had due to all that near artificial detergent bitter flacors, but still not a bad one at all. 10.01.2014

375ml bottle from Bierkompass.
Pale orange outlook with big sticky cloudy white foam. Aroma is fresh and fruity but little bit mild. Not so sour but good stuff still. Easy to drink.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by westmeister at his house. Funky feet aroma. Murky orange color but I may have gotten the sediment in the bottom of the bottle since everyone else’s looks much clearer. Light fruit and grassy herbal hops. Peach and a bitter grapefruit finish. Like the hop profile working with the sour here.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from Proof. Yellow-gold pour with big root beer float head. Aroma is amazing - brett funk, oak, intense fruit. Tastes are dusty, lightly bitter, fruit, jam on bread, lemon, bandaid funk. Finishes a dry oaky bitter. Very very interesting.
