375ml bottle in a tulip. Pours purple with an off-white head. Aroma of sourness/tartness, light oak, some blackberries, pale malts, and some fruits. Flavor the same with a cool blend. Average texture. A really good beer.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy purple with no head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong brett and blackberry, oak. Thin mouthfeel with sour blackberry and light brett with lingering dry finish. Really enjoyed this one off.

transparent chestnut with large bubbled white spotty head. Funky ash berry nose. Flavor thin but more focused, lactic berries with phenolic rubber hints, fruity but very thin, low carbonation, fruit skin all over.

Pours a hazy purple with a small head and some spotty lacing on the glass.

The aroma is bretty & berry forward, lots of tart fruit in the aroma, some seedy berry jam and some dustiness. Pungent & inviting.

The flavor is tart with a lot of seedy raspberry and blackberry flavors... it痴 nicely sour, very dry and has nice earthy notes. I知 a sucker for berries presented in this manner, so this is right up my alley.

I don稚 believe that this is a shelf beer.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2013 Bottle generously shared by Alan, poured dark red with tiny bubbled head that wasn稚 hanging around long. Aromas of smashed blackberry, dusty oak, bread, and barn. Flavor is lots of tart fruit: blackberry, peach, and grapes. Other notes of subtle wood and brett. Light to medium body. Another great brew from Crooked Stave. Tried again, really tart and minerally with a fuzzy sweatiness. Nice

Kinda cool that i am the third rater - thanks Felipe! Pours hazy purple red, burgundyesque with a tiny off white head that neither sticks around nor laces well. Aroma is bretty, funk, barnyard. Fruity but not specifically blackberry, oak. Flavor is light plus tart, some initial sweetness with a dry finish. Light bodied. Interesting.

Bottle (375 ml). From Mark, thanks! Slightly hazy bright red with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is of bright fruits (berries) along brettanomyces, light funk, oak and light cheesy notes. Taste is also of bright berries with brettanomyces, nice tartness, oak and hints of yogurt. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly winey mouthfeel. Moderately dry finish. Very good sour. Decent complexity, but mostly great drinkability. Really enjoyable. One of my favorite from Crooked Stave so far.

Bottle shared by Tooch4321...thanks Adam! - Pours hazy purple amber with a thin tan head. Nose is sour and tart, with red grape, yogurt, and lemon. Taste is real yogurty, lightly fruity, grape and berry, with lemon and medium tartness. Pretty gentle, with medium and mellow carbonation.
