Green Wax 2012 bottle. Pours with a hazed orange gold and a large white head that slowly fades. Aromas are of a slightly young Brett character, tons of tropical fruit (pineapple, guava), grassy hops, fanta soda and sun tan lotion. Grainy malt character, slightly catty, complex funk with strawberry and barnyard. A touch messy, but not bad. Flavors are quite sour, with tropical fruit, but a strong young Brett Cheerio character with a bit of diacetyl (so despite the dry hops, I’m going to sit on my other bottle for a while). Great acidity, nice pineapple esters, very juicy, nice grassy dry hop. Tangerine and peaches. Medium high carbonation, tannic finish, mouth puckering. Good, but needs a bit of time to clean up to become great (worth waiting 4-6months).
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 daknole (7211) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Pours a cloudy orange/gold color. Aroma is nice and tart, lots of funk, hops, leather, tropical fruits. Flavor is superb! Light sourness melds with the hop flavors and yeasty funk so well. Somewhat similar to Le terroir. Awesome.

Hazy golden orange pour with a nice white head. Really an insanely good nose. Intense tropical fruit/pineapple aroma. Passion fruit, melon, peach, mango, and a nice grapefruit/citric acidity. Yeast, mild malt, and lemon. The flavor is similarly excellent. Great tropical fruit character, though not quite as intense as the nose. Plenty of pineapple, melon, peach, and mango. Nice grapefruit and lemon, and some pleasant lactic tartness. Mild malt character and a nice bit of yeast.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2012 Tap @ new barrel room. Hazy, darkish orange appearance with a small, bubbly head and little retention. Caramel corn, light butterscotch, tangy stone fruit, vanilla aroma. Strange aroma but i kind of liked it. Coconut, mild woody, vanilla, apricot, yeast, a touch funky flavor with low carbonation. Unfortunately, this tasted a bit off, but it was interesting in its own right. (3.4)
Bottle @ home with Jetson. Pours a hazy/slightly milk yellow orange appearance with a small white head. Incredibly potent bretty, huge pineapple, tangy tropical fruity aroma. Quite sour, big pineapple bretty, light oak woody, huge vanilla, tart flavor. There is a bit of caramel corn and butter, but it’s not intolerable.(3.5)
Fresh-hopped bottle @ home with Jetson. Jesus Christ, the aroma is full of weedy dandelions, sour pineapple juice, and hay stacks. very juicy, pineapple bomb, quite tart flavor with a ton of herbal elements. Wow, that’s kinda cool. (3.6)
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BBB63 (5423) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - APR 27, 2013
Backlogged rating: Slightly hazy rich coppery hue with a good frothy head and lace. The aroma has tons of tropical fruits and some earthy esters. Plenty of Acetobacter sourness and some Brettanomyces funk with a grainy and herbal quality. The taste is moderately sour’d, lightly funky and very fruity, so much so with the fruity notes I would almost call this a fruit beer with the strawberry, apricot, banana, and mango overtones. Herbal and earthy finish with a bit of oak and mineral water. The mouth feel is very lively (almost too much) and refreshing with a sudden bone dry finish. Overall I liked this but honestly do not think it is all that.

Bottle thanks to Perrin515. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of white wine barrel, oak, tart lemon, tart exotic fruit, buttered bread and light lactose tartness. Medium body. Finishes tart lemon with hints of lactose - almost like a tart lemon milk or custard.

(375ml) clear medium amber, lasting tan bubbles. Nose of funk, barrel, tart fruit, Brett, delicious, maybe some pineapple too. Taste is tart, peach, but herbal, light acetone but not offensive, acetic and acidic lightly, this is great.
