compared d単lum next to L達rett d達lackberry - both 2013 vintages. Plum: pours pinkish light red, no head whatsoever. Aroma of cherries, light stewed plum funk, blood orange juice. Light body, lightly sour, some residual fruit sweetness. Taste is a bit bland, but with subtle cherry notes. Nice beer. 3.6/5 BlackBerry: pours cloudy dark ruby red: incredibly and subtle cassis/BlackBerry aroma, with a clear cherry touch to it as well. Body is rounder than the d単lum, and a tad funkier. 3.9/5

Tasted on 10/27/13 from a waxed and capped 375mL bottle, big thanks to Curtis for sharing. Pours a beautiful pink, almost salmon color with only thin, bubbly lace. The nose is a nice mix of fresh plum, with some pithy skin aroma, and plenty of brett and sour funk. The flavor is focused on tart plum with great funk and just a bit of nice balanced sourness. The body is medium with a nice tannic structure, very light carbonation, and a long sour plum finish.

Bottle... This beer rocks! Pours lightly hazed and ros with a brief white head. The bouquet is funky, oaken and fruity. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and buzzing carbonation. The flavor is fruity, sour, funky and woody with a tart, tongue-numbing finish. Big THANKS to landhoney for sharing this world-class brew with the South Florida Crew!

375ml bottle, reviewed from notes (3/2014 and 8/2014). Aroma is candied tropical fruit, sweet tarts, and light strawberry and plum skins with some funky musty oak. The beer pours glowing pink/orange/grapefruit color wit spotty carbonation that leaves a small ring around the glass. Taste has more funk than the aroma suggests. Tropical fruit comes through with deeper layers of plum skins, blueberry tannins, white grape, musty oak, light dough character. Acid level is medium, with medium-light body and medium carbonation. After taste is oak tannin, light fruit jam, plum skins. Overall a really nice balanced fruited sour that stays away from being too acidic. Lovely, age really allowed some of the fruit to come forward while developing more funk.

Bottle from a trade. Pour is flat pinkish no signs of a head whatsoever. Nose has tart plums, peach and some funk. Taste is not as tart as expected, loads of plums, banana and some lemon zest. Nice!

375ml bottle thanks to adnielsen! Pours beautiful bright pink red with some bubbles but no real head. Nose is tart musty old oak, basement, plum, blueberry, touch of horsehair. Taste is very low carbonated, low tartness, nice juicy dusty plum, grape, and blueberry, some light attic funk, damp wood, touch of bretty hay, soggy grain. Finish is tart dry oak funk, occasionaly semi-sweet plum notes, touches of wet hay and barn. With proper carboation this could be magnificent. Still enjoyable.

(FOFA 2014): Jus de pruneaux l馮鑽ement lactique qui ne s誕ss鐵he jamais. Le liquide est quand m麥e aqueux avec un profil fruit simple.

Pours a pinkish orange color with no head, light fizzing. Aroma is funky, barnyardy, lightly tart and fruity, citrusy - grapefruit, no notable dark fruits. Big tartness up front and the brett towards the finish. Fruity notes, plums present, apple like flavor, and grapes. Pretty tasty overall. Favorite of the L鍛retts.
