375ml bottle thanks to adnielsen! Pours dark black brown with about a finger of fizzy offwhite head. Nose is tart crisp dark berrys, wood, funk, some roasty cocoa, grape, fruit, subtle whiskey. Taste is sweet, los of tart mixed grape and dark berries, strawberry, soil, wet wood, spice. Finish is sweet funky grape, ashy chocolate, woodshop, funk, earthy dark fruit and hints of whiskey spice. A lot going on and it pulls it off. Fun beer.

Bottle to glass. Pours a deep reddish brown color with a light brown head. Aroma is tart, Flanders character, slight smoke, whisky notes. Flavor has a big oily sour that finishes with a strong whisky character. Very unique beer. Delicious.

Bottle. Dark brown color, brown head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of vanilla, figs, brown sourdough bread, raisins. Taste has burnt caramel, vanilla, softly sour dark fruit. Very tasty, I like it better than the base beer.

Brown pour. Nose us tart cherries, some citrus, funk, spicy whiskey barrels. Taste is tart and bitter fruits. A bit too bitter. Has a lot going on but the bitter pulpiness to the finish isn’t my style.

Bottle thanks to Tom. Pours a dark brown ruby with small beige head. The aroma is stong oak, lacto, wood. Thin mouthfeel with nice oak, brett, light acidic with sour finish. Very nice.

Bottle (375 ml). Thanks to Os for this one! Dark reddish brown with a small bubbly beige head and little lacing. Aroma is of alcohol, raisins, peaches, light spiciness, oak, roasted malt and acidic notes. Taste is moderately sour and quite raisin forward here too with alcohol, oak, berries, roasted malt and light spiciness. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly vinous/oily mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. A tad puckering. Not bad, but lack of depth and balance. Still tasty though.

Pours a dark brown with a small head that quickly diminishes into a rim and leave some lacing. Nose is of grapes, acid and roasted malt. Not bad but unexpected. Taste has that "glass bottle" character but it disappears pretty quickly and leave you with some nice fruity flavors and a light "caramel sweetness". Acidity level is in check and it feels almost balanced. Mouthfeel is winey and a bit of vinegar closes the sip. Not bad at all but not something I would come back to I think.
