Bottle at Bruce’s, London. Big thanks to the back of Bill’s car, and to Paul. Pours deep amber with a creamy, tan head. Nose suggests hefty sourness, some sweat and vinegar. Strong but balanced sourness in the flavor, moderate sweetness, some dried berries. Light bodied with fine to average, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, some dry berries, good fruity tang, light acidity, light funk. Really nice.

Burgundy, sour oak barrels, yeast, dark fruits on the nose. Follows to the taste, complex with spiciness on the palate, dark fruit again, impeccable blend. Plus it's waxed! I'm really liking Crooked Stave these days.

375ml bottle, shared by brew3crew. My pour was towards the end part of the bottle. Pretty hazy brown color, kind of amber. Thin light khaki head, good spread of lace. Dark fruit, kind of oaky. Smooth, light carbonation, kind of creamy. Nice lighter tart taste. Good stuff

Waxed bottle to snifter (anks brew3crew). Looks good; a cloudy brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells and tastes good too; tart with notes of malt and funk. Nice and lively on the palate. Good beer!

On tap at Churchkey during CBC week. Pours a translucent, mahogany amber with very little white head. Big, sour, Flanders nose, prunes, bitter greens, red wine vinegar, slightly vinous, apple cider. Flavor of sour apple, vinegar, malt, a little bread. Big, tart finish. Full and acetic. Nice Flanders.
