Bottle, brought to me from the brewery by my brother-in-law. Beautiful deep mahogany with a tight off white head. Aroma is full of ascetic sourness, some underlying oak and vinous notes. Fully ascetic sour palate, light, not puckering, with lovely sour cherry and oak traits. Quenching, smooth, so drinkable. These guys may be my new favourite brewery-- certainly the brewery I’m most excited about this past 2013 year.

Bottle - Pours rosy amber with a bubbly light tan head. Nose is light vinegar with a deep fruity malt and cherries. Taste is sour and malty with some balsamic vinegar and a tart and puckering finish. Soft and lightly fluffy. This was good, but a little meh and one-dimensional.

375 ml bottle shared at Dave’s get-together. Pours a deep amber brown with a very thin beige head. Very pleasant aroma is of oak, red wine, cherry and red wine vinegar. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with the same oak, red wine, cherry and red wine vinegar. Very enjoyable.

375 ml form Brouwerij Lane. Probably a few dollars more than elsewhere. But a nice cherry/brown sour with minimal carbonation that fades. Wine notes throughout. Nice.

Bottle pour. Crooked Stave Origins. A burgundy sour ale aged in Oak barrels. It has a nice clean and crisp bite with some raspberry twang. You can definetly catch the oak aging on the palate. Cheers!

Slightly hazy brown pour. Oak and sour nose. Soft sourness and a tough of funk. Nice!

Bottle at Proletariat with Linh and Scarlett. Pours a deep dark reddish brown body with no head - light off color lacing. Aroma is super oaky, light cherry and faint vinegar. Mouthfeel is light with a soft, mellow tartness and notes of oak and cherry. A grape candy character is revealed as it warms. Nice.

Thanks to Westmeister for opening this. Dark brown pour with a light brown and quickly dissipating head. Nice tartness and just the right amount to pucker up but not make you wince. Wild yeast aromas, hay, grass, with a bit of the sourness in the nose as well. Light red fruit flavors. Smooth nice and and tart on the finish.

Bottle shared with EricTeusink and jrob21. Pours dark brown with minimal beige head. Taste was big barrel influence, lots of tart cherries and blackberries. Tartness was certainly but tamer than most. Really nice sour red.
