Pours a hazy brown. Oak and fruity aroma with a hint of funk. Moderate sourness is rounded by some sweeter malt and raisin qualities. Light body with just a bit of carbonation. A great sour.

Bottle. The look is a tan head, dark brown cola colored, clear. The smell is blackberry, tons of fruit, super berry like, wood, tang, and tart. The taste is great, fruit, tart, grapes, wine, and good stuff.

Tap at Copenhagen Beer Festival in Boston (9-24-2016) showing cloudy brown with a light white foam. The nose shows a light mix of cherries, oak, and brett. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Lightly tart with flavors of light oak and brett.

A 375ml bottle from batch #5, bottled in May 2015, and poured into a Cantillon ballon glass. It poured a clear but dark burgundy reddish brown colour with a one finger beige head that had decent retention and left spotty lacing. Aromas full of fruity grape, red wine, blackberries and cherries. Lightly tart with hints of oak. Tastes sour and tart, fruity grape, cherry and red wine with a touch of lemon, oak and vanilla. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall nice, balanced and easy to drink.

375ml bottle. Pours a clear mahogany brown, with a thin beige head. Complex, well developed aroma, brett, oak, very vinous, dark fruit, vanilla, cherries, caramel, coffee, toasted notes, cinnamon, blackberries. Bone dry, medium body, low bitterness, balanced CO2. The taste reflects the aroma to the max. Extremely complex, well balanced, with a very clean acidity that lingers on the palate. Ridiculously drinkable, easily one of the best non-Belgian sours I have ever had. (2016-09-03)

Creamy sour? Yes with barrel. Sour tang. Very strong tang. But nothing that is astonishing. At the brewery thin fading head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
