3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2013 Bottle: Blend 1... thanks Ron! Cloudy goldenrod color with a bright, white head that doesn’t take long to fade away completely. Aroma is beautiful peach sweetness & fruit with some lightly acidic but mostly lacto sourness. Slight notes of yogurt, hay, oak, & perhaps even a bit of strawberry? Either way, very nice fruity nose. Taste contains fresh peach preserves with oak, hay, lemon sourness, light lacto yeast, & a nice, biting acidity that is restrained enough to not burn your stomach. Very nice stuff. [9-4-8-4-16, overall: 4.1]
Bottle: Blend 2, thanks again to Ron. Blend 2 was similar but overall much less tart & containing a much stronger funk presence that comes off very wet-hay & stinky cheese-like. Still quite nice, but Blend 1 is superior. [8-4-7-3-15, overall: 3.7]
Listed score is an average of the two blends.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle thanks to GT. Pours a hazy light orange with minimal head. Simple but very pleasant nose of peaches, acid, and some citrus. The palate is juicy, with peach puree, apricot flesh, and a nice clean tartness. A simple, straightforward, but outstanding peach sour.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750mL orange wax b1 thanks to dcschiller! Pours a full haze glowing peach. Low carbonation, speckles of lace. Nose is fresh peach, white wine, vanilla. Taste is juicy peach, not as fresh or juicy as West Ashley or Fantasia though, with a salty acetic/vinegar bite in there. Lactic and citric acid are thankfully forefront. Pretty hefty white wine vinous character. Overall refreshing and an excellent peach sour, just not the best one I’ve had.

Bottle thanks to GT for sharing. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Awesome peach aroma. Tons of kumquat, grapefruit, vanilla, and oak. Tart lemon, pineapple, and cantaloupe. Really nice. Flavor is tart, acidic, and peachy. Light pineapple, some citrus, and oak. Light vanilla sweetness, grass, and cantaloupe.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, pours hazy golden orange with small to medium white head. Lots of peach funk, yeast, and apricot in the nose. Flavor is a lot of the same with complex tart peach and oak coming through. Body is medium to full with juicy carbonation and light acidity. Another solid treat from Crooked Stave.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle, date 4/30/12, bottle 4 of 420. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with very little white head that quickly goes to a thin collar.
The aroma is subdued - acidic musty brett and a little fruit with a little butyric acid.
The flavor is sweet tart acidic fruits (lots of green apple and some peach and citrus) with a big mouth puckering sourness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with very low carbonation.
Overall, very acidic sour tart fruits but a little flat and overly sweet.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle shared with friends. Man this was close to being perfect. Aroma is tart peaches, apricot and sour lemon. Pours bright opaque orange with no carbonation. Taste is very tart with great sour peach, apricots, and an oaky funk. A little flat but intensely tart. Very enjoyable as it warms. One of the best sours I’ve ever had.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. The pour is. Nice muted hazy orange. The aroma is more vinegar than anything. The taste is bit as sour as the smell. Decent.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma: fresh peaches, fruity stonefruit brett characteristics, lambic nose
Appearance: pale, golden, orange, clear, white foam, rocky head that quickly dissipates.
Taste: light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium+ lactic sourness with zero acetic character, and tons of fleshy ripe peaches.
Palate: medium body, lively carbonation, long lactic/peach finish.
Overall: This is one of, if not the best peach sour beer that I have ever had. It has complex sour characteristics typically only found in Lambic beers.
