Commercial descriptionThe brewer markets this same or near-same product by more than one names. This can be the result of a brewer distributing this beer under different names in different countries, or the brewer simply changing the name, but not the recipe at different points in time.
This is the first beer to come out of our foeder (large oak fermenter) that came to us from a winery in Napa, CA. This spring inspired brew is similar to a Belgian single, pouring a copper hue and light malt aroma from the use of three different base malts and a small addition of specialty malts. We then chose a yeast strain from a small Belgian brewery to give the beer a subtle fruity character that plays nicely with the very light addition of coriander and some late hopping. After fermenter we added a small amount of lavender for some floral notes.
