Thanks to Aaron for another fine tick. Golden orange pour with a white head. Sweet vanilla and oak. Nice zesty lemon and orange notes, some grass, and a touch of doughy malt. The flavor is lightly sweet with some of the dough and vanilla notes. Notes of oak, some grass, lemon zest, and a bit of orange. Light tartness, a hint of spice, and yeast.

Big ups to my main man Jeff for this one! Hazy golden pour with an abundant head. Kind of a pungent nose to me, with a big dose of oak and some aggressively grassy notes. Nice, savory mouthfeel, but the taste kept wanting to pick a fight with me. It was consistently sharp to me, at times almost lemongrass bitter, with the result being that I found the underlying character of the saison obscured in most ways. Shame, but I’ll definitely look to try this again.

Bottle thanks to Dean. Poured a hazy light orange body with an average white foamy head and despite the chunky body there was surprisingly no floaties. Aroma had lots and lots going on, notes were off the chart sour lemons, horse blankets, funkiness, slight vinegar. The palate was super soft and delicate with a very light mouthfeel and li carbonation that was so delicate it was like the whole body evaporated right before it touched your tongue. Flavor was so light it was noticing like the aroma, notes of super light citrus, lemons, bread crusts, fruit pits, overall such a soft flavor. Nice beer but different.

Shared with my wife while watching old school Star Trek.
Served in my Crooked Stave glass. Thanks Josh!
The beer is golden with a half inch of white head. The aroma brings funk, grass, yeast, earthy grains, sweet fruits, light spice, citrus. Lovely. The flavor follows suit, with a nice, lip smacking pucker in the finish. Earthy and bready. Pretty light in body and a pleasure to sip.
