37,5 cl bottle @ home
Aroma is rather nice and refreshing with funky yeasty tones, some citrus, green apples and hints of white wine. Flavour has bretta, white wine notes, some cirtrus, urinal cake and floury tones. Feels slightly watery. Aroma was rather nice but flavour was a bit disappointing after that. Not bad for 4,2% still.

Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wood, oak, earthy leather notes, bretta, fruits and spicy yeastiness. Taste is tartish, fruity and woody with notes of bretta, leathery yeastiness and oak. Finish is watery, woody and slightly fruity with some tartish and earthy notes. Okay, quite funky and woody saison.

Bottle: Served in a taster: Medium sized white foamy head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Aromas of citrus, lemon, berries/grapes, yeast, oak, light brett, light saison yeast, some flowers... Nice aroma. Balanced and crispy. Flavours of lemon, tart, berries, yeast, light oaky, flowers, light peach, some grapes, light bitter, some light herbal more floral tones, hint of wheat... Overall a crispy Saison! Very nice! Aftertaste is bitter, malty, tart and some berries/grapes with a yeasty sprinkle. Low carbo, creamy light tart mouthfeel, good more than medium bodied and a light creamy light watery texture. Very nice! Close to what I think smelled and tasted the original Saison like. Nice!

Golden slightly hazy, finger of white head. A barnyard smell with a sour wheat, rye, vanilla, spices. Taste has a subtle sour with spicy Brett character then gives way to a nice vanilla cream like sweetness with a tiny bit of caramel malt biscuit and just a hint of hop bitter at the end. A beautiful roller coaster of tastes from start to finish. Refreshing and interesting. The vanilla from the barrel is awesome, the funky barnyard brings good spice and complexity, this beer has it all. And all at under 5% abv. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Prohibition Pig, 3/15/14
Lovely pour, foamy white head tops a pale straw golden body showing high clarity and plentiful carbonation.
Dry, woody and with moderate brett suggestions in the nose that mix with the soft floral hoppiness. Aroma strength is high and no alcohol or flaws are noted. Almost a lactic-like suggestion, though it’s buried pretty deep beneath the nectarine-lime fruitiness that the brett presents. Black and white pepper phenols keep things quite dry.
The flavor is decidedly dry...exceedingly so with a high amount of carbonation and very, very low malt presence. The actual flavors are delicious; flowers, herbs, oak and light brett acids, contributing moderate amounts of fruitiness and light tartness. Unfortunately, the extreme attenuation level coupled with a rather high amount of barrel tannin leave the beer very astringent, while the lack of malt body and high carbonation lend a somewhat watery feel to it. Still, very drinkable due to its extremely light nature, just needs a little bit more maltiness to balance all of the dry aspects.

On draught at Falling Rock. Slightly cloudy golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett, citrus and yeast. Light-bodied with a funky brett character and flavors of citrus, yeast and grassy hops. The finish is funky with a bretty yeast aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a hazy pale yellow body with a small white head. Nose is tart lemon peel and lactic acid up front, with wet grass, floral wheat tones and stable funk. Nice. Taste is mild straw and pale malt tones, tart lemon peel, lactic notes and horse blanket. Light body, bordering on watery, with medium carbonation. For a farmhouse saison this low in ABV, this sure is a nice one; very refreshing and accessible despite the near-sour profile.
