Pours cloudy yellow with a tiny head. Aroma is lemony. Yeah that’s a saison. Lemon curd in flavour. That’ll do pig.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden with a small white head, (didn’t dump the yeast in). The aroma has a nice lime-brett character, with some sweet malt and a bit of earthiness. The flavor is a huge blast of tropical fruit and citrus, which seems like it is produced by both hops and the brett. There is also a nice peppery note and some substantial sourness that adds even more complexity.

On tap at the source, pours bright golden with a carbonated white head. Aroma and flavor are soft, bringing pleasant wild Brett yeast, medicinal in a good way. I get a nice herb profile on the nose. Flavors bring light citrus and wild yeast on a highly carbonated body.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Beavertown. 4.2%. Hazy yellow, opaque, still, foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is faint lime, biscuity malts. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, foamy. Too much fizz. Taste is lemon, pine, muddled zesty citrus, touch of acidity. Dry and sour. Nice stuff.

On keg at Magic Rock Tap, Rainbow Project 2015. Previously out of a bottle from Bine & Vine, San Diego. Pretty badass and well-rounded. Hazy light blond appearance with nice foamy lasting head typical of many Crooked Stave beers. Tart, lemon zest, bret, acidic, powdered donuts. Aromatic floral aftertaste. Tangy, spritzy mouthfeel. I would also be happy to drink this on a boat. Super bret quencher.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of funky yeast, white wine, lemon, straw and grapefruit. Flavour of bitter lemon, minerals and freshly squeezed lime. Dry, tangy finish. Thin body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Lively fizz. An excellent Saison.

@ Stordirren 15-9-14: mycket lätt doft och smak. Tydlig brett och en trevlig balans. Ganska enkel men mycket gott.
