Share thanks to Homer321 via StalinCat. Pours a dark, reddish brown with no head. Chocolate, alcohol, sour aroma. Sour, lightly acidic, light chocolate, not much bourbon/barrel character, smooth.

Sampled from a bottle at Where the Wild Beers Are - October 5, 2013. Murky brown pour, tart fruit/cherry with some caramel. Bit of bourbon peaking through. Great beer.

Bottle, rated from notes. Pours a surprisingly clear dark brown, slight ring of tan. Legs outdo the lacing. Big whiff of cherry, winter fruit and bourbon. Nice vanilla notes, slick mouthfeel, oak not doing much to dry out the finish. Weird and good.

Bottle - Pours brown with a ring of bubbly tan head. Nose is sweet and malty, boozy but not sharp, with a lot of caramel notes. Taste is sweet and caramelly with some malty goodness. Not tons of fruit--a bit of cherry--with a long, sweet finish. Thin and carbonated with a medium body. Expected a little more than this.

Scopey (6321) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2013
Bottle, thanks to jackl. It pours murky red-brown with pretty much no head. The nose is earth, wood, vanilla, caramel, dark fruit, raisin and candy. The taste is initially damn tart, lemon, Granny Smith apple, cider vinegar, fairly acidic, wood, dark fruit, berry and sherbet with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and low/fine carbonation. Not quite what I was expecting with the Abt/Quad style classification! Still an interesting and pretty tasty offering.

Bottle @ Bruce’s. Right from the source! The pour’s ruddy brown with a small head. The nose is somewhat smoky, burnt pine. Some caramel and toffee. The taste is light brett, green apple tang. Some roasted plum and light cocoa. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, a novel combination of flavors. OK.
