3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A nice beer, but nothing that distiguishes it and makes it anything but. Nose is a little off from the taste and just a slight off flavor linger on the back end. Not my favorite thing from them, but nothing terrible either.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from HF. Pours a slightly hazy light amber with a billowy off white head. Musty but fresh (oddly) brett aroma with some wheat, lemon, oak, some funk, high carbonation and moderate body, slightly bitter and light sourness, some apples and mild citrus on the finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle; St. Bretta Summer - Pour is cloudy gold - itís over carbed, with a heavy white head into this glass - it retains fairly well , with some spotting presence here. The nose is sweet breads, citrus rind, and white pepper. The flavor profile reveals initial bready, with funk presence - spent grain, citrus notes, grassy hop presence - finishing off with a certain sharp tartness. Itís nice... for the most part.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a very cloudy, bright golden banana yellow color with a half finger white head that quickly disappears. Minimal spotty lacing left behind.
Very inviting nose with an amazing earthy brett character that is perfectly integrated into the witbier notes. Musty, dry and grassy with peppery spice notes countered by bready yeast and light fruit esters. Hints of ginger and grains of paradise followed by citrus peel and pale fruit notes.
Lighter end of medium body with a nice dry, musty brett presence thatís well integrated into the elements of the base beer. Not as exciting as the aroma suggests with subtle funk, earthy hop, grass and straw along with peppery spice, sourdough bread and light fruit notes. Some coriander and ginger along with banana bread, wild yeast, citrus rind and light fruit. Decent but somewhat of a let down considering the complexity and appeal of the aroma.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy yellow color, nice appearance. Belgian pale complexion, with a nice profile and balance, until a bitterness that is hidden there comes out a bit too strong. (at 2015 Summer Beer Dabbler, St. Paul, MN)
