Bottle from CBX. I’m guessing this is the Summer version, brewed with Tango Mandarin. Hazy golden pour with a frothy white head. Huge citrus aroma, tropical fruits, mango, cantaloupe, mandarin oranges and Brett funkiness. Flavor is similar with juicy tropical citrus and Brett funkiness throughout with some lingering oakiness. So fucking tasty and refreshing. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Bottle from Mikkeller Webshop; hazy golden yellow pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has orange and light funk, taste has zesty citrus, orange, funk, drying, brett, straw, with the right amount of sourness. Yep a great beer.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($8.50): Pours slightly hazed gold with a white head. Aroma is wonderful brett, citrus, funk, and spice. Really nice aroma. It is fortunately mirrored with precision in the taste. The blood oranges meld with the light sourness impeccably well. The funk is on point. As with most things by this brewery, I cannot recommend it enough.

Pours a hazy dirty apricot, bit of an ivory head. Aroma has malty and strong fruity tones. Sour apple dominates the flavor, but the malty underpinning peeps through. Flavor is fairly firm and fairly zingy. A pleaser any time of year.

Appearance: Hazy golden body, white fizzy head that doesn’t leave much lacing. Aroma: Souring tangerine scent and some old barnyard aroma. Taste: Very pleasant all around. From the get-go there is a tart orange flavor which is not too powerful and is very refreshing. Next there is a bit more fruit which tastes like grapefruit and lime. The end tastes like wheat. I don’t know what is in this beer, this is just what I pick up. I love it. Palate: Very easy drinking and refreshing. Light bodied, a bit low in carbonation (bottle) but on tap it was just right. Overall: It’s perfect for a Summer beer; light, refreshing, citrusy, and just enjoyable all around. I highly recommend it both on tap and in the bottle. It leaves me wanting more.

Bottle pours a cloudy dingy yellow light beige. Full white sandy head but receded quickly. Floral and spicy bitter aroma. Big time sour funk. Rather sharp and perfumey and a little soapy. The Brett sours are a little harder to get used to. Very highly carbonated.

Gigantic foam head rests on the pale yellow cloud of beer. Light lemon zest aroma. Tart and refreshing with a light body and crisp finish.

This is a fantastic example of the new wave of American sour beers. The beer starts off with a gentle scent of citrus. The tartness comes off as slightly sweet smelling. The color is a pale straw with nice head retention. The flavor matches the smell, citrusy and tart. This is an easy drinking and very refreshing beer. If you enjoy wild and sour beers then this 100% brettanomyces witbier is a must. Low funk and highly fruity.

Tap. Pours bright orange with white head. Aroma is very citrusy, Brett, tropical. Taste is sour, oranges, Brett finish. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Very good.

Draft samples of both the Valencia orange and tango mandarin. Cloudy hay pour with a slight orange hue. Aroma of fresh citrus juice, grass, pepper. Taste is bitter, tart fresh orange. Great, clean fruit notes.
