From bottle. Beautiful, clean amber. Thin white head. Smells tart. Sour cherry. Some pear. Puckering. Hint of vinegar. Gentle foot funk. Some cork. Fun. Sticks to the tongue. Acidic.

Bottle: Hazy, nearly opaque sunburst, orange body with a huge, chunky, long-lasting white head that slowly recedes down the sides of the glass. Aroma has notes of musty cellar floors, old wood, cobweb funk, tart lemon, a little hint of citrus, & some fresh mineral notes. Taste focuses a little less on the funk & includes more of a that tart lemon & stone fruit skin flavor out of the gate. Lemon flesh, orange zest, nice & pleasantly tart, leading into a woody, almost white wine like finish, ending on a small hint of damp, basement-y funk. Nice & sharp with a dry finish... Excessively drinkable saison, reminds me of a less pronounced, mini version of Anna.

Beautiful pear and lemon zest aroma. Farmer amber I’m color with a thin white head. Strong zing at first with an apple/pear middle and a smooth dry after. Very balanced.

Bottle while watching some march madness. Poursvkind of ugly dusty orange. Nose is vinous and tart. Tastes of wine, wet wood, pears, grapefruit, ginger, and peppery. Tart and lively.

Idiosynkrasie (3232) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 18, 2014
375ml bottle. Hazy, orangey deep golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweetish-and-sourish aroma, yeasty overtones, hints of vinegar, bubblegum, powder sugar, a fruity touch, some oak. Taste is tart with subtle sweetness, a dry, white vinous touch, yeast, bubblegum, hints of barnyard funk, a touch of lactic acid. Complex, mild, harmonic.

Sample at The Source. Cloudy orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and wheat. Medium-bodied with a funky brett character and flavors of earthy yeast, oak and malt. The finish is fruity with a tart apple and yeast aftertaste. Good beer overall.

375 bottle, 2013 Batch 6. Hazy golden-orange color with white head. Aroma begins funky and bretty like barnyard. Then it becomes more hoppy and fruity. There are citrus fruits along with some peach, apricot and strawberries. There is also a sense of wood. The taste begins malty sweet and then becomes acidic and vinous with citrus fruits like lemon. Finish is sour and then bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

ThirstyBird (1176) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2014
Pours a hazy golden color with a very white head. Smell is farmhouse like with a nice malt base, fruit, some citrus but with a hint of wood and lambic as well. Taste is very subtle flavors...wood, citrus, apricot ending puckeringly dry and woody. The body is light but slick with effervescent carbonation. A real treat.

Des céréales rustique et une explosion d’agrumes surettes animés par une effervescence vigoureuse qui s’attendrie avec le temps. Bière de soif exceptionnelle.
