Thanks to Aaron for this bottle. Golden pour with a light haze and a white head. Sweet tropical fruit and wine aroma. Some oak, light lemon, yeast, pepper, and a bit of spice. The flavor is somewhat sweet, lightly vinous, and very subtly tart. Some oak, lemon zest, pepper, tropical fruit, and sweet malt.

THanks JCB. Pours a cloudy soft blonde with one finger of sticky white head. Dry and peppery aroma with some lemongrass and citrus zest, mildly vinous. A light acidity and herbal/peppery character upfront in the flavor, becomes more tart. Kind of thin in the body.

Pours gold, fluffy white head. Nice sour notes in the flavor and some sweetness at the same time. I get some guava, mango notes, oak notes, soft yeastiness. Nice.

Backlogged rating: Poured a hazy deep golden hue with some head and lace. The beer profile is big acetic acid, moderate cheesy funk, and light tropical fruits with some spent grains as well. Honestly, through all my years and living in Belgium this does not remind me of a Saison in the least. Too vinegar driven and too hop forward, call it a Belgian IPA and then maybe it would be more truthful, disappointed.

Bottle courtesy of TooManyBeers. Sugared fruit - apple and pear, light spicy oak, and funk aroma. Cloudy honey gold with a moderate white head. Tart lactic, sweet citrus/pineapple, spicy oak, dank basement funk flavor, and some very faint bittering in the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice, easy drinking saison.

Bottle from StalinCat. Poured into a tulip with a nice cloudy gold. Very small white halo. very loose lacing. Taste is puckeringly sweet/tart with some tart tropical fruits. Super refreshingly crisp finish.

From the bottle. Hazy golden orange. Sweet and tropical fruity aroma. Some light tartness and a little citrus zest and funk. Tasty brew.

Tap from Falling Rock, Iím not knocking the beer, believe me if I was sitting at home enjoying this it would be a 3.8 beer. but the funky sour saison is really tough to enjoy when being cattled around a sticky floored bar. The slight tart twang is always a neat drink and this doesnt disappoint, put Hill Farmstead on the label and people would be lined up for days. instead of hours. Good Stuff.

Bottle at Churchkey shared with Greg, Keith, Chris, Geoff. Cloudy orange color. Aroma of dusty pears. Taste is softly sour orange peel, pepper, grapefruit. Nice.

375 mL bottle crushed with Jakebra. Very happy to state that. Hazy golden pour with a light, white head. Aroma of isovaleric, sweaty cheese, acetic, and overall funk. Flavor is sour, cheesy, little vinegar. Not sure if itís a saison, but itís good either way.
