3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2013 Batch #4 - After hearing a good amount of hype from this brewery I figured it would be a good way to make my first rating. Pours thick with a good amount of carbonation. Taste is sour with good amount of classic wild flavors including lemon and a decent amount of grain. Finishes clean, but would have liked a little more on the back end. Overall pretty good.

Pours a golden hazed ale with a solid quilt of loose whites. Smells funky with a bit of lemon and some oak, and some pear as well. Flavor is slightly tart, with some cherry, lemon and apple juice, some grain and a touch of bitter. Thin with a moderate carb and a wet finish. Good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. A hazy light to medium amber/orange beer, with an average sized, frothy, lacing, mostly diminishing white head. The aroma is lightly malty (toasted bread), moderately yeasty (barnyard, horse, attic), with notes of citrus, wood/oak, grapes. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body at best, watery texture, lively carbonation, rather dry , but not very long finish with light to moderate bitterness. Pretty good to smell and with a nice range of aspects. Thin mouthfeel and quite short finish don’t hel the the palate experience, but this one deserves at least one try.

pours hazy golden orange with a nice frothy head. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, and funk. Taste is loaded with citrus - orange and lemon, oak, nice brett funk, just the right amount of sourness and funk without being too acidic. Dry but leaves a pleasant sourness on the tongue. Extremely drinkable, enjoyed it. Wish they weren’t so pricy.
