Pours yellow-orange and cloudy. Looks like it could be a bit clearer with better bottle handling; I’d be a terrible bartender. Medium white head. Some lacing and pretty good retention. There’s a thin layer of bubbles on top of the beer after a fair bit of time. The aroma is big on lemons, limes, underripe apricots, cherries and peaches, grapes, oak, earth, medium to mild funk and a nice dash of saison yeast spice. Smells nice and tart. There’s a bit of yogurty flavor in there, but it comes off more fruity sour than anything. Taste starts out with limes and sour grapes and keeps building up with more tart fruit. Underripe stone fruit is prominent. Funk is somewhat more in the background, but there’s a definite musty, barnyard-ish character in there. Quite dry, particularly in the finish. Aftertaste is tannic oak, lime rind, peppercorns, grass and light vinegar. Lots of tart fruit flavors bouncing around. It’s only medium sour, and it’s a pretty gentle ride, really. Light on the palate. Some pucker, though you do feel the vinegar on your teeth after a glass. Another very good bottle from CS.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2013 Pours orange amber with a small white head. Nose is Brett and white wine barrel with peach, pear skin, Belgian yeast, touch of mineral. Mouth is pretty dry, acidic white wine elements. Peach skin, pear skin, dry, acidic on the finish. Mineral, stone. Sharp carbonation. Minerals and some leafy hops linger on the finish. Well integrated but to me its a bit acidic and minerally.

Bottle, batch 3 2013. Hazy light orange with a medium sized off white good lacing head. Pepper, white grapes, lime, light sweet tropical fruit, salty, wooden, very light white glue. Medium body, oily texture, soft/medium carbonation. Not all that complex, but pretty nice none the less.

375ml bottle shared by jcwattsrugger. Thanks John! Pours a cloudy burnt orange color with a thin foamy off white head. Aroma is funky, with Belgian yeast, sour citrus, and oak. Taste of sour lemon, wheat, oak, and light spice.

Bottle at the Holy Grale. Cloudy light amber pour with a white head. Mild picked notes with grassy yeast, citrus and floral undercurrents. Decent body with a below average mouthfeel. The pickle characteristics just don’t work for me....

Bottle shared for jcwatts is leaving again trasting. Poured a very hazed dirty gold body with a smaller foamy white head that left some nice lace. Aroma was rather funky, wet almond, light spices, citrus fruits, white wine and bread. Fizzy strongly carbonated with a medium mouthfeel. Flavor is just as funky as the aroma with notes of white pepper, light oak, white wine and lemons. I liked it.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a finger of white head that settles to a film with good lacing. Aroma of tart and musty grapes with a hint of sweetness and some oak. Taste is musty grapes and light fruit sweetness with a mild sour followed by an aftertaste of hay and oak. Finishes with a mild sourness. Mouthfeel is crisp with a light medium body and high carbonation. Refreshing and drinkable. Flavors are very well balanced and highly enjoyable.
