Bottle: Hazy, nearly opaque sunburst, orange body with a huge, chunky, long-lasting white head that slowly recedes down the sides of the glass. Aroma has notes of musty cellar floors, old wood, cobweb funk, tart lemon, a little hint of citrus, & some fresh mineral notes. Taste focuses a little less on the funk & includes more of a that tart lemon & stone fruit skin flavor out of the gate. Lemon flesh, orange zest, nice & pleasantly tart, leading into a woody, almost white wine like finish, ending on a small hint of damp, basement-y funk. Nice & sharp with a dry finish... Excessively drinkable saison, reminds me of a less pronounced, mini version of Anna.

Tap into a wine glass showing a finger of clean white foam on top of well filtered hay yellow. The nose shows a citric forwardness of fresh and ripe lemon with a robust malt backbone. The palate is moderately carbonated and light to medium bodied. Medium tartness throughout with flavors of light citrus but a strong citric zesty bitterness that permeates the beer; distracting and overpowerful. The bitterness reaches into the finish and not a lot of maltiness to balance it out.

Some citrus and vinegar aroma here. Hazy orange pour with decent head and lacing. Light but well integrated oak. Tangy finish. Tap at The Sovereign.

Barrel age tart. Sweet light watery. Nice barrel and tart flavor. An interesting beer. Barrel has some impact. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Enjoyed on tap at Crooked Stave Taproom in Denver, CO while on vacation. Appearance is a juice like cloudy dark gold with a prominent white head. Aroma smells tart with notes of oak, light stinky cheese. Taste is overly sour in the best way possible with a fantastic crisp malt finish that nicely lingers for at least two seconds. I haven't had a beer like this in a while that knocks you back after first sip. At first I thought it was my least favorite of my sampler offerings but now I think it's my most favorite. Great stuff!

Bottle at home. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma of bread and fresh grain, with funk, citrus and medicinal phenols. Sweet and tart fruity and yeasty flavour with phenols and a touch of popcorn

On tap at the Source. Surette Opaque orange gold with a funky tart aroma that wasn’t for me at first but softened as it warmed. The taste is acidic lemon, tart with funk, spice and wheat. Pretty good stuff.

0.375l bottle. Slightly murky golden body, white head. Aroma of lemon zest, cheese, vinegar and apple juice. Taste of apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, yeast and some floral hops. Sour and funky at the same time. Has way more in common with the gueuzes than the saisons. Nice though.

Backlog Very vinous and a bit oxidized. It’s a bit to heavy vinous for my taste. Still a decent beer.
