UPDATED: JUN 21, 2013 750ml Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium honey orange with an average sized (1-2 finger) white fizzy head that reduced quickly to a thin layer of foam that was left lying on top, thus producing some really nice sheets of lace. The aroma had kind of funky odor to it and was of a straw like malt, a citrus hop and a barnyard scented yeast with notes of orange, tangerine, ripe peaches, apricot, a touch of oak and a mild tartness. The taste was sweet and malty with a nice notes of orange, apricot and hints of citrus from the start, and had a strong yeasty sour finish with just a light hint of a woody fruit taste at the end. The flavor lasted a wonderfully long time allowing for the melding of flavors to relax on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was just a tad beyond light in body with a nice dry texture and a prickly carbonation. Overall an exceptionally tasty and refreshing brew, one with a nice fruity sour flavor that most definitely left you wanting more. www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

pours hazy golden orange with a nice frothy head. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, and funk. Taste is loaded with citrus - orange and lemon, oak, nice brett funk, just the right amount of sourness and funk without being too acidic. Dry but leaves a pleasant sourness on the tongue. Extremely drinkable, enjoyed it. Wish they weren’t so pricy.

Bottle, Gotta pay 8 or 9 bucks for these but every now and then it’s worth it. A wonderful tart saison. Pours a light hazy orange with a touch of white head around the edges. Smell includes light funk, hay, citrus. Taste is moderately sour -- enough if you’re a fan of sours but not so much that someone who usually doesn’t like kind of thing couldn’t enjoy it. Barrel characteristics not overpowering but present. Light carbonation carries it through. Love this stuff.

Pours a cloudy light to medium orange. Small frothy white head, fairly lasting with some lace. Aroma is yeasty, brett, light fruity, light peppery, sour and woody, white wine. Flavor follows. Medium plus body. Pleasantly tart and sour, some funkiness, little dryness. All that and yet still so very easy drinking.
