750ml bottle - batch 7/11, bottle 355/1599. Pours a hazy golden amber with a big fizzy rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is interesting - soft brett, wood, floral notes and some fruits.

The flavor is sweet tangy fruits with some earthy kind of funky brett that is a little acidic. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, I like what the brett barrel adds to the saison. One of my favorites from Crooked Stave.

Poured a nice golden color with a thumbs width white head. Sweet and a little tart in aroma along with the funk. Flavor was great. A nice sweet malt backbone to it, some juicy pear, and a nice tartness to it. Medium bodied, smooth, and kind of creamy mouthfeel. Really liked this one a lot, would love to drink again.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2013 Bottle (thanks to goodbyeohio)... Poured golden with a mild, quick forming head. Straight up good saisons with a nice funk and spice from the brett. Earthy and grainy with a hint of citrus and other acidity. Pepper spice and a hint of funk that balanced and just right. Enjoyed this quite a bit.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2013 Updated for the dry-hopped version. On tap at the Barrel Cellar. Pour is hazy golden orange with a small white head and decent lacing. Cheesy, waxy, citrusy aroma with notes of biscuit, wood, wheat, light funk, grass, white wine and pepper. Taste is lacto, vanilla, lemon peel, citrus zest, bread, yeast, grass, somewhat tangy, biscuity, waxy, and white pepper with a lightly bitter/spicy finish; ending pretty dry. Medium body with medium carbonation. I really like the dry-hopped version. Pretty nice saison and gets better every time I try it.

Pours a hazy peachy golden color with a finger of fizzy foam. On the nose its tart vinous notes, touch of grainy stonefruit... the palate follows suit with a nice medium carbonation that keeps the body light but still slightly silky. Nice dusty backbone slightly gueuze like with lots of light lemony funk. I wish this was on my local shelves cause Id drink the shit out of it !!! THANKS adnielsen !

Some funkiness and wine on the nose. Pours an opaque gold. Sharp but not quite astringent taste, actually quite well balanced. Not a daily drinking beer for the price, but a nice treat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
