3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared at the Tasting That May Kill Us in London. I got this beer from AJ. Pours clear, bright gold with a mellow, frothy white head. The nose has tangerine, honeysuckle, mild funk. Light sweet flavor with ripe citrus, juicy lemon, more tangerine, hints of sticky honey, melon, pale bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild warmth to finish, more honey, sweet pale bread, definitely some citric lemon, tangerine. Good stuff. A little bit lip-blistering, but good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - thanks Felipe! Pours cloudy amber gold with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is funky, peach and cintrus notes, Brett. Flavor is lightly funky, non-descript fruit, touch of vanilla, some oak, not really any whisky per se. Medium body.

Bottle from bytemesis. Hazy orange, some foam. Dirty, funky something. Hmmm, strange flavor. Dry, dirty, sour, i don’t get the peach, definitely a little sweet whiskey. Interesting.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, tart, fruity, pale malt, peach, funky, wine, wood, alcohol - whisky. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, peach, manure, brett, whisky, wood, warm, spicy - peppery. Wow this is nice ;D. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - fizzy, finish feel is light alcoholic.

Bottle. Bright slightly hazy gold pour. Peachy aroma, light funk, smells oaky. Taste is sour but not excessively so, nice peachy fruitiness with very light acetic character, not unlike authentic lambic. Palate is smooth and dry, low carbonation. Very tasty.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Yeasty, peaches are subdued, barrel isn't as pronounced as the base. Dare I say I prefer regular Surette?
