Trade bottle somewhere in the neighborhood of 18 months old. "Re-rating" because my phone ate the original rating. This is probably one of the most drinkable sour ales Iíve ever tried. Never gets too acidic from cool to room temperature. Very pleasant pineapple and citrus notes throughout. Very well done.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A: Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, Thick White Head, Decent Lacing
S: Yeast, Peach, White Grape, Oak
T: Yeast, Peaches, Apricot, Mild White Grape
M: Decent Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Tart, Mildly Drying
Overall, a really nice and easy drinking saison...the barrel characteristics are mild but add a nice touch to it, great blend of yeast, fruit esters and mild lactic acid.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
12.7 oz bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a fizzy white head that completely disappears.
The aroma is acidic brett with some tropical fruit.
The flavor is sweet tart and sour fruits with earthy brett. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, tastes great, but a little under-carbonated.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml bottle shared by Pineypower. Poured an ugly apple cider brown, super cloudy, hardly much of a head other than a few large bubbles with much agitation. Aroma of apple cider vinegar, acididc, barnyard, wet leather, lots of funk. Medium bodied with lighter carbonation and a super acidic burn that nearly took some skin off my throat. Flavor is very acidic, tart, lemons, apple cider vinegar and light funk. Good stuff but man this one is a burner.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle via trade. Pours out a cloudy apple juice color with no head. Aroma is tart and acidic fruit, some funky basement/horse blanket and some hay. Taste is complex, tart sour funk, light vinegar, lemon peel, light sweetness, grain, some hay, funky, borderline puckering tartness on the finish. Solid sour.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma of lots of funk and tartness, some light oak, pale and caramel malts, and a light bitterness. Flavor the same with a nice sour, tart finish. Average the texture. A really good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not that great for crooked stave. Their signature yeast which offers up a bit of a sulfuric note was a bit stronger in this. Tart lemony and funky but the notes of fireworks just put me off a bit.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sample from bottle shared at tasting. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a small head that quickly fades. Aroma is sour citrus fruit, mostly grapefruit and lemons. Taste is very sour and tart. Hurts my jaw a bit which means Iím not a big fan. Lots of sour citrus fruit, some bardyard funk, leather, acidic. Soft carbonation. Just not really my thing.
