Lightly foggy gold with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly tart, hay, light citrus. Taste is a medium tartness, very refreshing, light fruit, nice balance. The ideal lawnmower beer if you can get it 365.

At salt lock with Stephen. Pours orange with almost no head. Very low carb. Aroma is zesty lemon funk, fresh. Taste is fresh very funky almost sour, BT balanced drinkable sour saison. Some complexity in the sourness, but mostly just a unique delicate saison that has really soured up in a good way. Very nice.

[Bottle] thanks, Ron! Golden-yellow body, light & full of a cloudy haze all throughout. An almost nonexistent, white head fizzles instantly into thin air. Aroma has notes of sour & tart fruits; green apples, white grape, ripe pears, & some faint peach in the back-end. A touch of barnyard-y funk, Brett-like with some earth & wood in the finish. Taste is sour up front with borderline acidic lemon, apples, & citrus... The sourness slowly fades into a mellow sweetness as the funk comes alive with some wet blanket, cellar floor funk followed by a dry, oak-y tannic finish. Plenty of lemon zest & tart citric notes left on your palate in the aftertaste.

[Update] Sampled again about 5 months later thanks to Kevin. It’s already developed quite a bit - much more sour than I remember with a pleasantly sweet, fruity finish... citrus, lemon, peach, white grape. Lower funk, more sour. Still a nice Brett presence throughout, though. Definitely tasty stuff.

A - pours hazy golden honey with zero head. S - honey and musty, funky and sour. Lacto and oak, lemon juice and golden sour goodness. M - medium body with a heavier end. No carb. Tart and delicious. T - nice golden sour. Funky, musty, oaky, lemony, lacto, tart orange. And zesty. O - a real nice golden sour. Much like Chardonnay surette, cable car, etc but smoother. 4.2

Trade bottle somewhere in the neighborhood of 18 months old. "Re-rating" because my phone ate the original rating. This is probably one of the most drinkable sour ales I’ve ever tried. Never gets too acidic from cool to room temperature. Very pleasant pineapple and citrus notes throughout. Very well done.

A: Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, Thick White Head, Decent Lacing S: Yeast, Peach, White Grape, Oak T: Yeast, Peaches, Apricot, Mild White Grape M: Decent Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Tart, Mildly Drying Overall, a really nice and easy drinking saison...the barrel characteristics are mild but add a nice touch to it, great blend of yeast, fruit esters and mild lactic acid.

12.7 oz bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a fizzy white head that completely disappears.

The aroma is acidic brett with some tropical fruit.

The flavor is sweet tart and sour fruits with earthy brett. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, tastes great, but a little under-carbonated.
