Flaska systembolaget. Disig gulfärgad vätsk med vitt snabbt försvinnande skum. Lätt syrlig och frisk doft av vitt vin, äppelkart, bär och hö. Smak av citron, äppelkart och örter. Syrlig munkänsla och viss strävhet.

375ml bottle, batch 13, vintage 2014, bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Slightly gushing. Close to clear golden body. Film-type layer. Tart aromas of green apples and berries, semi-dry. Fruity-berry tartness to the taste buds added by a touch of oak. Refreshing cleanser (hotel room, Oslo 15.04.2015).

The acid in this one almost reaches Lambic heights. Very fresh and good. Nice and dry oak barrel character in the background.

Hazy yellow, white head that quickly dissipates leaving minor/close to no lacings on the glass. Aroma is vinous, with cirus, oak, red berries, mashed red currants, wheat, brett. Taste is sour, with a slight vinegar hint, with citrus, orange, ends in a vinous dryness. Medium body, medium to high carbo. Complex and drinkable at the same time, very well made.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a hazy amber-hued orange body with a small white head. Nose is red berries, apple vinegar, mild red wine tones, wood, straw, hay and hints of pears, citric peel and stable funk. Taste is sour lactic and citric notes, lemon zest, hay, stable funk, pale malts and hints of wood, red wine and apple vinegar. Medium to light body, semi-dry finish, medium to high carbonation. Tart, refreshing, complex and highly drinkable, this is "sour saison" at its best. Really great stuff.

375 ml bottle. Unclear golden body with a nice white head. Aroma is nicely sour with fruits and some light wood. Flavor is mild acidic, refreshing fruity, farmhouse spicy yeast and pleasant mild wood. Medium body and pleasant in aftertaste. So well made, amazingly refreshing, just got to love this one.

Poured from a bottle, hazy orange color with little head. Not bubbly. Nose is earthy, saison funk. Taste is lemon, tart, sour, but medium bodied. I think the aging in the oak barrel comes out at the end as it mellows out. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a very hazy golden amber hue with a fast bubbly head. The nose is great on it! Very tart and citrusy, big brett funk, grape peel, berries, vanilla oak, white wine,a bread like doughy malty character as well. Flavour wise, this beer delivers here too, tart apples, barnyard funk, bread like maltyness and a vinous finish. Crisp and tart fom start to finish and really beautiful. Would like it more if it was more carbonated to follow the style. Lovely!
